3rd strike is a great game, but the tier rank is too much marked. i think even more than sf2, alpha series and sf4.

in my opinion ssf4 is the most balanced sf ever. u can see right now in arcades claw raping sagats, blanka owning akumas, el fuerte owning ryus, adon destroying rufuses.

but u will never see a 12 player owning chun lis in a high level tournament... so sad.

the thing that sucks about twelve, which i even showed my friend while we were playing, is that even if you have overall control of the match, twelve has such bad health if you slip up once, its instantly in the opponent's favor. My friend barely plays 3rd strike, but I play as twelve alot, and its just surprising to see his damage output/input overall

@staxstix Nerp. RX is pretty much a player in his own tier, aside from Kuroda. That 12 dropped a lot of shit he could've punished, so it was obvious that mind games were being played here.

actually in sbo 08 yamazaki was one of the most impressive players. in round 2 his chun team mate lost to a yun first fight. then yama made an incredible comeback vs the yun and beat him (it's on youtube) before dominating a yang. he came close to beating the chun and OCVing the entire other team before the chun took the fight. then yama's ken team mate messed up royally to beat the chun. yamazaki was amazing though, one of the best there fpor the games he got to play

personally i find the elena matchup not as hard as people say. maybe it's because i don't play many good elenas, but that fact about her being able to out prioritise everything with that fk or fp (dunno which) isn't that useful if you mixup. maybe i'm wrong there though, but it's my experience

Damn that reflector can be pretty cheap especially in teh corners, and using 12 is always an uphill battle especially if you don't know how to parry as well as the other guy. If only 12 had some cheap juggle combos, then he would be unstoppable, but then all the noobs would start picking 12 so nvm.
