  • @tillyboo98

    Some things are self-evident.

  • hey that could be a lulaby mommy is it time for bed

  • if there's trouble and you're along, you might have negligent parents... :P

  • isnt it in Australia 000 hahahahahahahahaha very funny

  • .....

  • lmfao, i'm pretty sure its 999, justr sayin.

  • @razzah123 in america its 911

  • @razzah123 Where we are it's 999 and in America is 911

  • stupid vidd if lil kids c this there gunna push the numbers for no resone!! and for an emergency theyll think like i wet my dier and call 911 wow whoever made this "song" shud of think wat the kids were gonna do!

  • In new zealand we dial 1-1-1

    Silly goose :L

  • thumbs up if right after the song u called 9-1-1

  • @crashanddie1234 Why did you have a heart attack from how ridiculous this sounds?

  • I thought it was 9-1-1 not 9-1-1-9-1-1-9-1-1-9-1-1

  • @AntebellumOg

    :))))

  • When I was kid, I was not taught this in school. My mother taught me this.

  • @Sandhand02 Lucky you. Every child should have a mother like yours.

  • if any little kids watch this video your going to be seeing police cars at your house then you ask your child why there is police at our house and the little kids say, "well the video told me to"

  • @TheBlackbird3000 Let's hope parents have enough sense to educate their children.

  • @TheBlackbird3000

i highly doubt that unless they already have issues...

  • @TheBlackbird3000 The full version of this video includes a lesson on what constitutes an emergency, instructs a child to go to an adult whenever an emergency arises, and to dial 9-1-1 ONLY when there is an emergency and ONLY when there's no adult around. Most of all, we have to have faith that there are parents out there who accept responsibility for instructing their children. Sadly, I'm not sure that's always the case.

  • I think it's cool that someone is out there trying to educate children on how to call for help if they're in trouble. Well done.

  • saun kingson fire burning

    good sont fer kids

  • Kids would probably tune this out...toddlers probably would find it interesting despite not being able to understand...but hopefully your studs are in preschool...

  • This song is so borin ... SEAN KINGSTON WOOO

  • i don't like this...

  • my brother dailed 911

  • my brother dailed 911 just because he lost his favorite toy

  • when i younger i dialed 911 because i didnt know what would happen. i hung up quickly then later a fire fighter came to our house. i got in TROUBLE :c

  • @XTYRAGX I LOLED- my littlle gousin was like 'i thought you had to dial 999' loolll- from me in england:)

This is a great opportunity to discuss the differences and to make sure she knows 999 is correct in England. Besides, the song works equally well with 999 in the lyrics.

  • @svenskakr4 : O thats the nnumber we use in Bulgaria too :DDDDD

  • DAMN! now this song is stuck in my head

  • lol '_'

  • In england we press 999. :D

  • @XTYRAGX I LOLED- my littlle gousin was like 'i thought you had to dial 999' loolll- from me in england:)

  • this vid is important cuz i was watching the new and there was a single mom who had thaught her son if he was in trouble like BIG troble to call 911 and so one day she hit he foot on something and then lost alot of blood pasted out and then her son saw her in the living room called 911 and saved her

  • The wirding is slightly off @ 00:47. Troubling could be taken the wrong way for example a kid might call 911 because her older brother won't give her her toy back and then that kid would get in to a lot of trouble

  • Yeah you know what happened on 9-11? Bet you didnt teach your kids that now did you

  • Epic :3 ♥_♥

  • @YovyR pff nerd

  • stupid justin bieber is better

  • kids are thought NOT to talk to strangers, and here, they're encouraged to CALL what they are going to think of as STRANGERS, give them their name & adress.

i get it. call 911. whatever. But it's a little disturbing.

  • The things they say about 911 are misleading as frig.

My kindergarden teacher told us something like this.

I had trouble on my homework, called 911, and my parents got fined for it.

    GRR.

  • @TheAeroTurtle 9-1-1 is the number you use to summon an ambulance, a firetruck, or a cruiser, all of which are designed to respond to emergencies. Your teacher's lesson should have included help in determining what constitutes an emergency.

  • @Grancie48 The way they taught us was in this format.

    "Help, (state problem)!"

They never really told us when to use it.

Like I used it when I was 6 and my parents were fighting.

They almost sent a police car down for fear of domestic violence.

    -sigh-

  • @Grancie48 i nearly broke my leg once. it happened in hostpital. i didnt walk out safely, why? u have to get pushed out of hostpital

    It's amazing! Take a look:

  • im not a little kid but i just sang the song to my mom so she would laugh

  • im not a little kid but i just sang the song to my mom so she would laugh lol

  • In my city in Canada, they now answer and say "911 - where is your emergency?" You have to give your address right away because there are so many cell phones now and they can't trace the locations. (I'm a teacher, and I called and asked for this information for my class.)

  • @RachelEMacD they usualy in the US say, WHAT is your emmergency, because they can ussaly track cell phones now too; and if you passed out after the WHAT and before the where, they could still send the right type of help, and usualy to the right address. But your right, they should do WHERE first, just in case. But still it would be a waste of resorses to send all the types of help u can send

  • @josiaspereira and 000 in australia

  • @dancman95 999 in england

  • not a catchy tune at all

  • I like this song, I'll teach it to my preschoolers..Thank you!

  • Legal, in USA it's 911, in brazil it's 190 to call police, 193 to call fire truck, 192 to call one thing, 194 to call other thing, it's harh to brazilian kid remmember iti

  • @josiaspereira That does sound like a problem, not only because it requires a child to remember multiple numbers, but also because it requires him to make a judgement about what kind of help is needed.

  • @josiaspereira... true true

  • @josiaspereira no 1 cares

  • good!

  • borin

  • .........

  • Hmmm can a child under 5 actually remember these lyrics?

  • Great song! You should delete the ignorant comments. If _ _ _ holes could fly, this place would be an airport!

  • I think this song is just telling kids to call 9-1-1 for any reason at all.

If my child heard this song, he'd dial it just to mess with me. You forgot to mention only to call if it's an important situation.

You're practically telling children, "Hey, see mommy's phone over there? Go take it from her and call 9-1-1! it could save your life."

  • What the hell. This song made me laugh more than it helped me. And to think y'all are actually having a conversation about this! LMAO! LOVE IT!!!

  • why am i watching this. . . ?

  • They will call for help because they ran out of Chicken Mcnuggets in the frezzer XD

  • This kinda made me smile how theres a noob hero in purple and im the noobkiller...idk lol...i like the expression on that kids face like :0

  • Your vids rock! xD

  • good song! God Bless you!

  • what if some kid called 911 and was singing this to calm him self down?

  • good song for little kids

  • @mrcoffeerush yes you do need to give your address! How will they know where to go then???!!!! Pfft!

  • @mrcoffeerush yes you do need to give your address! How will they know where to go then???!!!! Pfft!

  • @mrcoffeerush yes you do need to give your address! How will they know where to go then???!!!! Pfft!

  • If kids heard this they would think to call this for anything

  • @snkey32 That's why they have parents to teach them the importance of using 9-1-1 appropriately and responsibly. No song could ever replace parental guidance.

  • If kids heard this they would think to call this for anything

  • @mrcoffeerush

Then again, if your living in 1990 when corded phones still existed, you might need to give an address. Or if you're calling from a cellphone.

  • @mrcoffeerush

That is true ONLY if your town has enhanced 9-1-1. It's better for a child to give the address and not need it than to need it and not give it.

  • Hahaha funny

  • Hahaha funny

  • 119 in brazil :)

  • Good song thanks!

  • I work for 9-1-1. You DO have to provide your address- ALWAYS!! If you call from a cell phone- you need to know your location! Proper 9-1-1 education for ALL ages is important!!

  • Thanks for confirming the necessity of providing your address.

  • @TheCindybridges how do u get a job as a 911 operator i really need a job and wouldnt mind doing that for a job

  • That's true IF your town has enhanced 9-1-1 AND you're calling from a land line.

  • I remember a song like this that our teacher played for us in kindergarten. It was either a tape or a record but it was more upbeat and I still remember some of it.

  • That's the great thing about teaching with music. It stays with you long after other lessons are forgotten. I still remember some of MY childhood songs, too.

  • 112 in sweden Xd

  • o shut up lady ...

  • 100 in greece...

  • your voice sounds much like Patti Page, to me anyways.

  • i like the singing voice!:)

  • listen it's not like they only told me ONCE! They reminded me every now and then. All I'm saying is this is WAY too repetitive and I think that as long as we remind kids every now and then what 9-1-1 is and that they shouldn't dial it unless there's an emergency, I think the kids will be fine!

  • How hard do you have to drill this number into the kids heads? It's just three numbers! Seriously! When I was a little kid all they had to say was, "Hey kid, don't dial 911 unless you have an emergency" and that's exactly what I did. This is overkill.

  • You must have been an extraordinary child. Wouldn't it be great if we only had to say things once to children?

  • 112 in sweden:)

  • 112 in romania too :) police, ambulance and fireman.

  • In Colombia we call 123, simple!!

  • 000 in aussie.

  • That must be easy for the little dudes to remember!

  • Yu dont wana 2 yr old callin accidently lol

  • True. That's why parents must stress that this number is dialed ONLY when there's no adult around and ONLY when an ambulance, fire truck, or police response is needed. I have seen several reports of very young children who have saved their parents' lives by dialing the emergency number.

  • lol in china the number is 119

  • 112 in The Netherlands here

  • 123 in philippines ! very simple ahahah!

  • in romania 112

  • how about in UK?

  • 999

  • same

  • uk is 999

  • is there a short version?

  • For a shorter version, I would recommend just singing the first verse which contains the essentials.

If there's trouble and you're alone, call for help on your telephone. 9-1-1, 9-1-1, pick up the phone and dial 9-1-1.

  • 911 in America! haha jk

  • 123 in Colombia

  • 777 in Kuwait

  • I wonder what would happen if you dialed another countries emergency response number? lol

  • Me to lol

  • 999 for hong kong 110 in china

  • in BRAZIL its 190

  • In Thailand 191 ^0^

  • 110 in iran

  • in england its 999

  • here in denmark its 112 ^_^

  • In India Its

    100 for police

    101 for ambulance and

    102 for fire station.

  • Its 100 in India

  • lol I forgot that 911 called the police when I saw this and I thought it would be some 9-11 crap.

  • here in sweden it´s 112 ^^

  • Wouldn't it be great if all the countries could agree on one universal emergency number? I suppose even such a seemingly simple step would take years to negotiate.

  • in estonia its too 112 :D

  • You should put it to music, and make just a WEE bit faster. Then the kids'll get it down pat

  • wait.....wat do u call again??

  • your mother.

  • bahhaa, blesss , needs background music

  • Videos good for young kids but I was wondering I went from twilight to this does anybody know why?

  • Here in the netherlands it is 112

  • Well..I watched the vid and I have to say...I'm scarred for life. That was one of the creepiest sounding songs I've ever heard and if a were a toddler I would would be more scared of this song than if an emergency happened. Lol

  • You're over exaggerating. I actually like this song. ^^ It's not creepy at all. o.o

  • my phone has the 9 but not the eleven ; /

  • funny....

  • 911

  • WOW this video did in two minutes what I have been trying to teach my four year old for months

    THANK YOU!!!!!

You may have saved lives with this.

  • Thank you. I hope so.

  • in norway its 112/113 i dont remmeber :O

  • u can use both XD

  • I like this video because it teaches my cousin when there is trouble at his house he will call 911.

  • US 911 TJ 066

  • um.........ok...................

  • ok honestly. what baby is going to call 911? AND THIS JUST SOUNDS CREEPY!

  • 911

  • 911

  • 911

  • so i call 411

  • Someone beat me to it, but as soon as I saw this video I thought "911 is a joke" by Public Eenemy.

  • I don't.. know what to say..

  • Don't tell Public enemy! They think 911 is a joke!

  • you forgot to add dial 911 if you want to have some fun lol

  • lol ya

  • Children today & dating back to 1960's minds & body mechanics are not developed properly through day camps & school systems so kids have a true understanding that one day they will not be kids &eventually will be responsible for their own lives. worst type of abuse of a child other than parental abuse is same age peer abuse & a system that allows children from their most helpless stages to believe phony things about society & the world of the future through all types of TV not just violent shows

  • rofl "then tell them whats troubling you"

disbatch: 9-1-1 emergency whats your emergency?

kid: i can figure out this math problem.

disbatch: what? kid, this is 911 emergency.

kid: i know that. i need help with my math problem. LMAO!!!!!!

  • I heard a recording on Jay Leno where a child did exactly that. LOL

The lesson that precedes the introduction of this song discusses what constitutes an "emergency" and distinguishes the need for an ambulance, cruiser, or fire truck from the other "problems" children encounter.

The other critical point is that a child should go to a grownup in an emergency and dial 9-1-1 only if an adult is not available.

  • its diffrent. think ity would more annoy me as a kid as 911 just keeps going through my head, but i stil;l think its alright.

  • lol my brother called 911 for no reason when he was like 5. A police officer came and hes like "whats going on?!?!" My brother hid some where and then the police officer left.

  • That's why it's important for parents and teachers to stress the importance of dialing 9-1-1 ONLY in an emergency. This number is not a joke and could cost someone else their life if emergency crews are out on a prank call.

  • Wow this is... actually useful to parents.

Granted, I'm a 16 year old boy, so I'll probably never get any use out of this or your other videos, but I think it's really cool that you make videos like this.

I hope you continue to make these. I may have found this by accident, but it's great to actually see some clean, useful videos on Youtube.

  • Thank you so much. It's really nice of you to take the time to comment on my videos. If you check out some of the playlists along the top of my channel, you may find some videos from other people that WOULD be useful for someone your age. Maybe science, special effects, or home improvement?

  • Help me!I am a teacher of English in a primary school and I need these video for my students. How do I have them?

Thank you! I hope someone will help me, Judith

    Italy Calabria

  • Ilove this video with it's repetitive 9-1-1 theme which will help children learn the number. However,I am british and over here the emergency number is 999.I'm sure the entire U.K.would be grateful to you if you made a "U.K. friendly version.

  • What a good idea! The numbers 9-9-9 could easily be substituted in the song. I also think the choice of 9-9-9 as an emergency number is far superior to 9-1-1. When you're frantic, hitting the same key 3 times is much easier than looking for a second key to push. Thanks for the input.

  • The kid will think to call 911 when they can't find there parent/guardian. So this is BAD! And BAD!

  • In Korea we use 9-9-9.

  • I like that. It's much easier to dial than 9-1-1, important in an emergency when you're likely to be rattled.

  • How many kids do think called 9-1-1 for no reason? Or gave out their name and address? I mean really.

  • This song is a follow-up to a lesson on 9-1-1 which 1. explains what an emergency is and 2. explains that a child's first course of action is to go to an adult, hence the song lyrics that say "If there's trouble AND you're alone"....

I also would hope that any parent of a young child would stress the importance of not dialing 9-1-1 as a prank.

  • Any child capable of reciting his name and address is certainly capable of dialing 3 numbers on the phone. Besides, even if he pushes the wrong 3 numbers, there's no danger of a stranger answering. Fortunately enhanced -1-1, once available everywhere, will make it unnecessary for a child to know his address.

  • this vid is weird cuz i wonder how many kids called 911 after watching this? and i wonder how many kids called a random number and gave out their name and address?

  • Why is it that there are tons of blank accounts posting on your videos that are all named Rebecca and are 32 years old, with no videos?

  • LightshadeOnline, I have no idea what you are talking about.
