why can't America put some good horror films up? My recent favs of the horror genre is The Ring. a remake of a Asian horror movie. Do you think maybe American horror writers are just afraid to take the leap of chance? try something new. I mean think about it. recently, it's been remakes of 80's best and most trailers have premises that touch on the King's movies. As for the movie, it does look interesting.

actually Hollywood toned down the horror flicks because of the school shooting that happened before. You can clearly see that in Scream 3, the writer said they reduce the violence and blood cuz of the events. Hopefully, Scream 4,5 & 6 thats in the works will go back to its original roots. :-)

Looking forward to this one. South Korea has put out some good Asian horror films lately: Epitaph, Hansel & Gretel, Apartment and Death Bell. Also still need to see Loner and Hidden Floor. Loner looks awesome like Voices. Thailand has newer horror films like Alone (from the directors of the original Shutter), Sick Nurses, The Victim and The Spiritual World. Philippines has White Lady. Hong Kong has Rule#1 and Help. Loner, Voices, Epitaph and Alone will get my vote.
