@1farmeagle1 depends on your amp. for a tune like that, you want the pregain low...you dont want any crunch or distortion. the low should be about 75%-100% and the mid around 25% - 50%. each amp is different, and each guitar is different, and the pickups being used can have a negative or positive affect.

if you cant reach the 17th, use the high E string and use the 3rd, 5th, 12th, and 7th fret.

i watched this video 6 times and i still can not get it. i started 2 days ago on my electric guitar. any advice on what i could do?

if youve only had the guitar for a few days now, i would look at some of my other videos i have posted. i have one about the overall guitar, notes, picking, etc. it may help. also, its best to find a song and just jump right in with both feet. its difficult at first (and fustrating) but in no time things will just snap and you will get it. dont give up.

just keep on practicing, youll get it.
