  • very true but after a while boring due to the way you retard the speech output.

  • this video is sooooooo real its scary

  • WOW!! haha Ive been on both sides of the desk! Anything to keep em on the treadmill.

  • this is exactly how it is where i work and if i said the name of the company, the world would not believe me unless they tried working there..... I dont blame the company, just the Mgnt i work for.... complete ass holes

  • amazing

  • The 61 that disaprrove of this must POS bosses

  • The number of Thumbs Up or Down is NOT being counted correctly. This is a form of censorship by YouTube. YahooNews does the same thing.

  • Checkinggokop what would you know about working in a capitalist system? We haven't had that here in nearly 100 years. How can you judge the morality of hundreds of thousands of people who make their living in sales? Do you know what a complete idiot you look like for making such an absurd statement? No one sells anyone anything they don't need. Buyers are much more sophisitacated than that these days. Which sales job or jobs did you have that you miserable failed in?

  • This is my job... unobtainable quotas that just get higher and trying to disguise the new comp plan as if it were better than last year, when a 5th grader could figure out that couldn't be farther from the truth.

Then the company gives the best leads to "special" employees that make no outbound solicitations... even so far as stealing clients (that hit the company website) from my lists and giving them to inferior employees that do nothing.

    Classic video!

  • OMG, this is so frigging hilarious!

  • "If this company is my family I have been molested for years." -- I almost blew a mouthful of coffee all over my laptop! ROTFL!!

  • this kind of conversation i face every month.....sad

  • ha

  • yep...that's sysco alright

  • love it!

  • LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • All to true, drugs are the only way to get through the day....

  • This sounds like Ebay gaming their customers that their fees are lower when they are CRAZY HIGH TO SELL!

  • borring

  • Frighteningly accurate. The foodservice business is way too much like this. Ask any sales rep for Sysco, Performance Food Group, U.S. Foodservice, Ben E. Keith, etc, etc. Sales excellence is rewarded by unrealistic goals for next year.

  • @Jmitchpen1013 Im a CMU Account Exec for Sysco in Canada. This is like any number of conversations I've had with my director in the last 5 years.

  • @MrBabylon9000

I feel your pain my brother! Some of my best friends are account reps and most of them are very good at what they do. The reward for their hard work is exactly what is portrayed in this video....unfortunately the light at the end of the tunnel is indeed a train. Which is engineered by a clueless VP of sales with a masters degree in marketing.

  • The saddest part is how many different people are convinced that this is where *they* work.

  • This video is F#@!ing hillarious!!! Sounds like a place I know... LOL

  • This mirrors pharmaceutical sales to the last detail!!!

  • Hwo was recording this conversation in my workplace? I was sure I swept it for bugs. BRAVO

  • This is too perfect!

  • one of the morally lowest jobs you can get in the shitty capitalist system. you degrade yourself as a salesman and you push garbage products on consumers that they dont need. most of marketing jobs are on the same level as prostitution.

  • @Checkingokop It's fun when your making good money.

  • @Checkingokop But you are ever so wrong Mr.Negative. Being a salesman is a great career opportunity especialy for those who are hardworking and ambitious, the sales field is a wonderful place to make a good living and meet new people everyday, and as far as the "pushing of garbage products on people goes", know this, all true salesman who make an excellent living (I'm talking as much as doctors with PHD's) truly believe in the product their selling and use it themselfs on a daily/weekly basis.

  • @SnipeyAZF you missed the entire point. sorry

  • @SnipeyAZF <--- somebody's boss trolling for the lulz.

  • How did they get my boss to appear?

  • This shit is awesome! I'm in furniture sales

and the same bs recipe for Kool Aid

is "recommended" we all drink. Lmao

  • "This company is your family.........." If we are NOT biological related in any way, shape, or form, then you are no f*ing family of mine.................you are a USER, a SLAVE-MASTER! What you are is an adversary (that might need to be taught a lesson yourself, eventually!)

  • "If this company is my family, then I have been molested for years..........by being financially raped up the ass!!" LOL..........AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!! Best line out of the whole video to me!

    GREEN MOUNTAIN ENERGY!

    JUST ENERGY!

SOME COMPANIES IN THE REALTY INDUSTRY!

  • It looks like whoever posted this is a fly on the wall. Complete reality.

  • @mrsalesguy01 Sir I would like to become your disciple. This is so dead on it's not even funny. I remember purposely hitting just enough for my personal goal and actively turning away sales so none of my managment would get their bonus. That resulted in a Corrective Action form, which I refused to sign. This is fuckin priceless.

  • what happened 2 funny stuff

  • This is exactly what goes on in the business development world.

  • I remember getting a $5.00 Starbucks giftcard for all of my hard work.

  • Who the hell are the 51 dislikes!!! This is Awesome!!!!!

  • i going to trr to make this into a book i writing it wright now

  • hey xtranormal why does it cost 100 points to make a video its was free a a year ago make it free again

  • CSCO

  • Fuck yea man right on point. I am a sales rep for one of the two companies who offer fiber optics. And this clip is amazing. My management does the exact same thing to us it's sad.

  • @Robertmiller52 If you're an idiot who's doing a useless "job" invented by other idiots, then better get used to being treated as an idiot.

  • yes, this is just like my office, BS all day and night!!!!

  • haha this is great!! check out my xtranormal video about online dating on my channel!

  • Sounds like my old sales manager for sure :D

  • i love how he calls it "the twitter"

  • LOL.. I think I worked at that company....

  • So True i had a similar experience with a micromanaging bipolar menopausal sales manager from hell thank god I never have to see her again.

The Joy of a Salesman menopausal crazy sales manager

  • fml - this is every salesman's life

  • Everyone of us in sales now would love to say the same words to our supervisor and let them know we are not as dumb as they believe.

  • The truth to this is astounding. The one thing I have to be thankful for is that my sales manager IM'd this to me whle we were both at work...at least he gets it too!

  • I cant stop laughing! This is so realistic!

  • how to u make the camera more faster facing the actor

i cannot lol and how u make the motion and action and typing

  • Was someone listening to my last discussion with my sales manager?

  • This is 'Peter' from Accapela. I wonder if 'Serena - British' is available. She is able to put expression into the voice.

  • This is EXACTLY how they roll, those SOB'S

  • this is my life..

  • This was so funny, i had tears in my eyes, omg so very true

  • All I can say is awesome

  • nice conversation.............

  • If it's not in SFDC, it doesn't exist.

  • This is the funniest thing I have ever seen. Ever. I would love to meet the genius who wrote this.

  • i worked at SEARS. this is how they operate.

  • Was this a behind the scenes filming of a one on one at C B E Y O N D? hmmm?

  • Comment removed

  • FML. How depressing, this is completely true.

  • Man, I had this conversation with my boss this morning LOL!

  • LAST WORD FOR YOU = CHOW

  • I used to sell kitchens at W***es this must have been written by an area manager..

  • how do you get thier mouths to move with the words?

  • This is awesome. You should make a real voice version of this.

  • As Director of Sales for my current company I will say the salesperson here was very ungrateful. He needs to have a better attitude and never forget SalesForce as that is your lifeline!!

  • @FreshPress1 Yes SFDC The be all and end all when you positively, absolutely need to toe the internal company line to make commission..for all of the wrong obfuscational reasons. Upper management is really only interested in polished turds, never reality and truth. The means are ALWAYS justified by the ends and are rarely questioned. As long as short term results flow, the hell with the means. We'll worry about those later and then we will actually wonder why Been there...for 33 years.

  • @AnAmericanFan I'm just a normal kid and I found this hilarious.

  • Holy shit!!!!! This is all so ducking true. I work in sales and it is 100% commission based. I could not agree more. I am still fucking laughing at all of this.

  • That was so funny it made me cry. The saddest part is that I work for this company, and think the boss might actually resemble my boss. I'm going to watch it again.

  • A little over the top, but so true. This sounds like ADP.

  • A little over the top, but so true. This sounds like an ADP.

  • PURE NONSENSE. THUMBED DOWN.

  • @CorporateRule uh huh...and this WOULD be the position of those driving desk nervously, upwardly reporting managers (not leaders, MANAGEMENT!).

The Sales person will soon by consumed by The Dark Side and will become his asshole boss in this painfully real piece...

  • @AnAmericanFan

Apparently you've never been in sales.

This type of anti-sales propaganda hurts overall productivity in our great nation and further embeds the false notion that you have to be a corrupt scammer to succeed in America, which is killing our economy.

  • @CorporateRule LOL! I have been affiliated at the joint hip of sales in technical sales in Applied R&D (and Global Marketing) positions of engineer, manager, and director for 33 years of my career. Care to accuse more accurately? The video is so painfully true in its sarcastic comedy as to be brutally honest! I've lived it! My whole team has lived it. The sales force has lived it!

It is you who is out to lunch in abject denial!

  • @CorporateRule This sort of video has NOTHING to do with the demise of US manufacturing or business. That is being done PRECISELY as a part of what this video so sarcastically illustrates! It is arsewipes such as yourself who wish to bury your head (arse?, both?) in the sands of denial and post such drivel as you did! Go away! Pissant!

  • I think this is the most awesome thing I have ever watched on You tube !

  • I think this is the most awesome thing I have ever watched on You tube !

  • anyone ever work at guitar center? this is gospel, every word!

  • Salesforce...the most antiquated software crap. I could have more speed if I used an Excel spreadsheet. Millions of dollars my company spent on this junk system to make my life miserable. Of course, the idiot who approved it won't admit the error of his ways.

  • Holy crap! This is the conversations we have at our online school (won't mention the name, doesn't matter anyway they are all the same)! I can't stop laughing and crying at the same time. Sad news is we teach the business classes that our corporate "gurus" don't even have a clue about! I'd love to slip this video in when we have our Ra-Ra Kudos on how so-so we did.

  • if you are the top seller in your company they never bother you over sandbagging, never bother you and actually mean it anyway. if you are the top seller you can listen to them bitch all they want and totally ignore it.

  • love it!!!

  • 60000 are at home jobless

  • This is so true it's scarey..

  • This is clearly a local Xerox company... hilarious and yet sad.

  • Hey you guys just wanted to know from all the salespeople how they would like to be treated. I actually studie Bussiness& Management and a few of my classmates plan to be managers. So tell the managers of the future what you would like differently! thanks!

  • @cmrnlza

Lets focus on graduating college first. Step #1 - learn to spell. It's STUDY... not STUDIE.

"plan to be managers" - wish it were that easy. Have fun trying though

  • @steelhdr80 Hey your correct but English isnt my first language and also you didnt answer the question.

  • love it

  • love the part when he says he would print the corporate wide email and deposit it in the bank for $5000. lol! hilarious humor but so so true

  • The Starbucks gift card! That's hilarious....because it's true. I've gotten a few of those in my day.

  • This is hilarious! I could hear this conversation at my current job with our sales reps. It's really sad that this takes place in so many companies.

  • i cant get enough of this video.

  • Please watch my video that is similar to this except it the joy of bank tellers

  • I bet the old guy is arthur from arthursalmanac on twitter

  • Can somebody say " Autonation " !!!

  • Add Pharma sales to the list of industries this resembles. Dead on.

Ps. "Cold calling" kids was a stroke of genius.

  • I just emailed this to all the sales reps i know!

  • Brilliant!

  • Cold call his kids!

  • I literally watched this 101 times in a row and fwd to every sales person I know. Shit I almost sent it to my manager but figured he wasnt smart enough to understand the humor.

  • This sh*t was dead on. Props.

  • Love it!

  • On the consumer level, aren't many times the number of things bought rather than sold?

  • My company sent a very nice company wide email today acknowledging that I was a critical part in helping them to collect 4million dollars of aging receivables. No bonus of any sort was discussed in it, but they were very "grateful for my above and beyond efforts". It hurts my soul that this comment is actually true.

  • This is so true that I almost want to cry.

  • Comment removed

  • I can't stop watching this it's so funny because it's true!!!!

  • I can't stop watching this........ It's so damn funny!!

  • I always wondered why the dealerships took their best salespeople and made them managers. It always seems like if the managers were salespeople that the dealership would sell more cars. Every manager I have known was always the top producer...according to them.

  • great work............dead on

  • That is the collective sum of all of the meetings at my place of employment! This is an instant classic for me.

  • At 1:26 - gold.

  • The escape with the AmEx gift cards made me loose it. This is genius.

  • I'm in autmotive sales and I can vouch for the approach by the sales managers to sales people. I think I peed alittle when I saw this the first time. Absolutely genius.

  • I can't believe the cartoonized my last boss.

  • MAUHAUAHUAHU this is A-W-E-S-O-M-E !!!!!!!

    The Starbucks card!!! ahahaha

  • I am in corporate sales for a Forbes Top 100 company. Its a huge faceless publically traded American company.

This video really hits the nail on the head.

There is something wrong with corporate culture in North America if this is the norm.

I mean really, I thought I just worked for a porrly managed money hungry company, but seeing this video and reading these posts makes me realize there is a serious problem with how we run our companies and how our economy is managed.

  • this is epic

  • This is just like the newspaper I work for. From the junior management to upper management.

  • This IS sales and the way that uninspired and uninspiring management (NOT leadership) cluelessly operates... Thumbing this video down? You must be an upper management upwardly nervously reporting stooge...Leadership must have never crossed your vacuous mind.

  • OMG did they work for Oracle???? Keep the little peeps down!

  • This is so my sales organization!

  • This explains why salespeople are assholes

  • @drdark666 yes it does we have to put up with this crap 24/7 lol and its very accurately reprsented here.

  • holy gawd that was hilarious!!!!!

  • oh my God, I lived this!!!!

  • WOW! This is sooooo totally amzingly right on the money!

  • Sounds like a Cintas meeting!!

  • @venue1215 YOU ARE SOOO RIGHT!!!!

  • this ia also why "the customers" can't stand salesmen

  • This is right on with ATT. Unfortunately no one with ATT will acknowledge it; b/c they are to scared to comment on this video. This is exactly how ATT treats their "loyal employees" . If upper management with ATT will actually acknowledge this they might need to consider changing their way of treating the front line employees.

  • @muzzemi1 I think this is how most companies treat their sales reps these days.

  • This is scary how accurate this really is.

  • 29 folks couldnt sell crack to a crackhead

  • Hilarious and true!

  • I'm going to cold call your kids and tell them you were murdered....awesome! Not quite the Alec Baldwin speech...much funnier though.

  • OMG! this is so funny. My husband has got to see this since he is in Sales himself. And I think he's told me of this exact conversation.

  • Absolutely awesome!!

  • Sooooooo right on!!!

  • LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That is hilarious.

  • When Prudential Securities cut the commissions by 10% and took all accounts with less than $250,000 and put them into a "Prudential" account from which I derived no commission, I told them to shove it and went someplace else. The moral of the story is that good salesmen need to move on regardless of "prizes".....there are better jobs out there without working for jerks.

  • LOL. GETRIPPED - Is this Bobby or Brian?

  • lmao this is where i work!

  • Brilliant; it's good to know that there's other people going through the same b.s..
