UFO over Northfield, Birmingham, England 7th June 2011

Last night my son and I saw another ball of light UFO at 23:30 17 August 2011.

This time the UFO was higher and travelling South East.

I tried to record it on video but the batteries went dead in the camera. I can't be sure it was an effect of the UFO because I didn't look to see if the batteries were charged before hand.

Im from birmingham, Bartley green to be exact, yes u are all seeing ufo's ive been recording them for a couple of months...my footage aint great cuz ive only got a shit camera, but instead of quality i have quantity, ive managed to record these strange balls of lights everyone id reporting around birmingham, when i get a chance ill upload them :) keep looking up!

i also live in northfield and have seen the same thing more than once. one night last year i watched a second light follow the exact same path as the first. no sound and going far too fast to be chinese lanterns.

@yourmomstits What direction were the lights headed? I've seen the same sort of lights three times now. No sound, not Chinese lanterns, not planes or helicopters. Just a ball of light. I hope I'll be ready with a camera next time.

@yUFOeu i was on the bunbury road and the lights looked like they had come from the selly oak area and were traveling towards west heath. definitely something strange going on in the skies.

@elob0y As I said in the info about this video; one of our CCTV cameras is looking up at the sky 24 hours a day. If it does record a UFO during the day, I'll upload in on YouTube.

While it is a terrible video clip, you can see, as you correctly state, that it's not a Chinese Lantern because you can see that it travels in a straight line at a steady pace. Hope you catch the next one with a better camera :)

@xxbozxx1 I think your's must be short pants! If you read what I said about the video you'd know I didn't think much to it. I uploaded it to YouTube because I did see a UFO that night and the CCTV camera caught it. Even if it's not much to see, it is the UFO.

i saw something weird last night, it looked like a moving star then it stopped for a minute and then changed direction - birmingham also
