  • haha resident ^_^

  • did ya catch his speech touristindc? did you get any sense of conviction in that speech? any vibes of self confidence 'radiated' from that speech? I think he looks and shows so worn out! I hope we dun see more deaths, please.

  • Yeah, I pulled over in my car to listen to it on the radio. Sarah was with me so I got the camera out and shot her reacting to it. We're gonna use some of it in a B-17 vid.

What else can we do with something like that?

  • sorry dude, ya got me beat there :x

  • doh's name on it is an insult. This moron who knows nothing about sacrifices, having his name on a memorial, is such a dirty, perverted act.

  • I think I'd like to see US being a "positive" leader & not be dictatorial. The US on it's own cannot watch over the world. Talks of "getting it on" with Iran is totally absurd & ridiculous. Her troops are already stretched thin. Sometimes, I think you need more "mothers" in the government. Mothers add more common sense to a male's ego (I'm male btw)

Oky, gotta stop. Dunnoe where the f*ck I am going with this :-/

  • it's not about gwb. the vets who visit it seem to like it just fine. shame gwb's name is on it (i thought it was privately funded), but i don't think that detracts from what it stands for. belittling this monument is not classy.

  • No disrespect meant for what the monument is supposed to stand for, but monuments can symbolize different things, even if it is not the intent. A disregard for how the world really is and the remaking of our view of it to conveniently fit some design, agenda or re-written history is very much in line with this administration's dangerous MO. Unfortunately, gwb's name on the monument begs this symbolism.

  • I think the Oracle's dumbfounded bro. His 21,500 will solve what 130,000 can't do. it's now 3276 deaths I think, and Bush will add more to it. This man has to be tried for war crimes, not impeached.

  • That seems to be the growing sentiment here in the U.S.

  • Land of the Brave, yes. Land of the Wise? nah, not currently. Land of the Free? Seems I've forgotten the definition to that word.

  • "Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose." I hope those song lyrics are not what the definition is becoming.

  • He's proof that evolution can go in reverse. As far as the future is concerned the lights are on but no one is at home.

  • If you would win a man to your cause, first convince him that you are his sincere friend. Therein is a drop of honey that catches his heart, which, say what he will, is the great highroad to his reason, and which, once gained, you will find but little trouble in convincing him of the justice of your cause, if indeed that cause is really a good one.

  • Great reflections.

  • They're Abe's...

  • Glad he spoke you mk. Thanks for sharing the skinny on your communion:)

Is it the qualities and the vision of a Lincoln or that of a Jefferson we now need in a president?

  • oh, i'd say tom has the right idea...

  • Unfortunately, has Jeffersonian Democracy been relegated to backroom lofty conversation having no practical application in today's America? I hope not!

  • When the conduct of men is designed to be influenced, persuasion, kind unassuming persuasion, should ever be adopted. It is an old and true maxim that 'a drop of honey catches more flies than a gallon of gall.' So with men.

  • Intersting little vid.

I'm from Australia and think I speak for the rest of the world, we fear your government, not for it's power but it's ignorance.

  • Abe doesn't know... he doesn't want to know.

  • Personally I think the energy of the country should be toward our next president. It looks like McCain is placing himself in a position to get the support of the current leadership. Who do you think can honestly break through and win the South and the Middle of the country in 1 1/2 years and change the direction of the country?

  • ah damn it. we help the US kick the Japanese occupation's ass and we get put on the wrong side of the ocean in the memorial? ...shows how much they care.

...well... they never really cared that much in the first place. let me rephrase what i said earlier... shows how much they still don't care! mga putang ina!

  • paglabanan....

  • Based on the latest polls, a majority of Americans now support impeachment, looking forward to Bush becoming just another harmless resident of the United States.

As many of us ponder what may come to pass, history offers no foresight, and we alone are left to answer for ourselves....

Please comment with your hopes, dreams or reflections.

  • On Dec. 8, 2006, US Rep. Cynthia McKinney became the first US Congresswoman to introduce Articles of Impeachment (H. Res. 1106) against President Bush, as well as Vice President Cheney and Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice.
