@97trainman A local electrician volunteered his time to convert it to run off city electricity. There was a large custom made transformer in the back of the cab which I was told used a lot of juice. Sorry, I don't know the technical specifics though. I of course made a donation for them giving me a demonstration.
@fishycomics Thanks! And you have an awesome channel, just subbed. I love my Zi8 and will get the Playsport. I definitely need to learn some of your tricks.
@PeaceLoveScoobie Was this a Persnal or public tour. because it sure look like an Exclusive. I am no sales person, but try looking into the delaextreme(com) FE-12 or bestofferbuy (com) and a W-67. they cost not much and that again would have been perfect and priceless for close up, in return the same has been done, let me say Welcome to the Kodak Family.
@fishycomics It was a public tour. The display & tour is ran by retired railroad workers and younger enthusiasts. The young man that showed me around had a great amount of knowledge regarding the exhibits which includes another snow plow, dining & freight cars and a lot of memorabilia. It's not a flashy display, i.e World Expo, but if you're into railroad heritage you'll enjoy it. Hermiston,OR is a small town and unfortunately a lot of people miss the display. & thanks, I'll check out the lenses
@PeaceLoveScoobie the closest I was to the West Coast was a Alaska cruise, and seen a RR up there in Skagway.. I will remember this and one day make it there. thank you , and great job.
Any videos of this in operation back in the day?
