Listen up to Sway's comments on this one. He's telling you his perspective from his experience. Congratulations to LNC, and yet again let me extend my respect to Jumpoff for following through on their word.
I agree man, and N Dubz is a huge product that I look upto in the UK. No1 has done what they are doing for years...from the trademark to clothing...We actually went into Universal and had a meeting with N Dubz thereself & they explained how hard work is the only reason you can get somewhere...You don't need Pz thrown at you and backing you too make something out of yourself though... I have a team behind me and a manager with links, it doesn't mean I won't stop working because of these clips.
LNC do you know anything of a WRC 08 season? i havent seen anything after all the controversy and footage being stolen last time i was just wondering?
ok so it may not happen then... did they have sponosorship last year to run it? i really want to see more of that shit it was funny and u did well seeing as u were a stand in last season. U seem to be improving on ur disses and it shows at the monthly jumpoff, not just using filler with the occasional diss which was a lot of what ur team were using at the WRC but then again as i said u were a stand in so u did well at short notice!. would like to see more of u Mad props man!
Yeah man, I feel I have improved incredibly since last year and would love to enter again this year however, no partner as of yet & like I said not even sure if one will happen this year.
Appreciate the good showing of support though bruv and make sure you keep in lock with whats happenin my way!
yeah i will do want to keep in with whats happening with everyone i started watching jumpoff at the WRC06 and there has been some funny shit laid down at these events, i want to see some more, but there hasnt been any WRC 08 trailers as far as i know, so it doesnt look good in terms of a WRC 08 season i'll keep watching and hope!
yo speaking of WRC how come when some WRC people go to the jumpoff live stuff they dont have the same impact. Eurgh, kulez jus some examples on WRC they seem better then when they go on JUMPOFF.
No matter how big someone is they should still connect wit there fanbase!
I think it's alot about delivery at Jump Off and I just feel some of the WRC rappers that you mentioned don't have the right delivery for the crowd...you HAVE to perform aswell as rap when your up there.
the biggest problems facing artists today is not development, its visibility. not everyone needs to wait to be polished until they come out, some people learn thru experience. more people have heard of LNC than 90% of UK rappers.
The biggest problem facing artists today is everything BUT visibility you TOY, thats one of the easiest things to get. The internet makes it infinately easier to be seen than it ever has been before. The main problem for artists today is the saturation of the market and lack of quality control, funding and low record sales due to piracy. In order to break you NEED money behind you or to be a complete act that majors can sell to kids (N-Dubz) before they all come crashing down.
In order 2 blow commercially u NEED major backing or distro deal. Majors havent handed out developement deals 4 yrs. They want the next complete package they can market. u need the same foundations 4 underground & commercial success its the marketing scheme & content that differ. N Dubz signed to Polydor after already having ££ thrown @ em & having been a complete package since teens & they had links & an inroad to the industry thru dappy's dad being in Mungo Jerry. They still took yrs to pop!
I handled the studio with Sway better than alot of young artists could do coming up...
Your right, Jehst etc...however Im not looking to get in the same kind of scene there on. Im looking to break through COMMERCIALLY. Jehst, BlackTwang,Skinnyman are all artists who have some SERIOUS skills and I look upto them on that part but Im more on delivering something for commercial heads. If it means kids are pumping my music on the mobile phones then so be it. I can deliver on both sides of Hip Hop.
Nah, fact! he is not ready to establish himself in the scene, its not sommet to take negatively. Look @ the figure heads in the scene, BlackTwang, Roots Manuva, Skinnyman, Jehst. all in their early 30's & most came up mid 20's. Even sway's late 20's. Im sayin is he aint discovered himself as an artist yet so shouldnt get too much exposure too early. As for the lyrical comment.. thats fucking bullshit all of the top dudes in THIS country are on it! n why do diluded fools just play the hater card?
me?? are u clowning.. im schoolin ppl you fukin retard.. im giving advice, maybe sharp tongued but still advice as for you fauz corperate cunt, once youve rinsed the scene for every penny you can i hope you choke..
I agree bruv, it's all about a marketing product and I believe in myself to bring out a style & image that will appeal to the masses within the UK. I totally get what your saying bruv but I felt the way you set off saying my barz are gash and Im a puss don't exactly prove what real MC I really am.
I get what your saying but personally I feel I have something to bring.
Im not sayin u dont hav sommet to bring. Im sayin u aint had time to hone that. As things stand ya bars in the vid & others ive heard from u R gash, not 4 ya point in the journey of an MC but in the bigger scheme of things, theyre GASH. As for the puss comment.. yeah it was a bit petty but you were shook in the studio with sway, BECAUSE YOUR INEXPERIANCED & AN INCOMPLETE ARTIST. something you can become. But push 2 early youl jump the gun.
Take it how u want, if u got sense ull see its advice.
Surely you knowing who I am is a good start right? I've had countless positive feedback on the tracks that people have heard. I can deliver something commercial that any age/gender would be feeling and I can also bring a more "Hip Hop" feel to a track...
I don't mind you stating what your saying because your entitled to your opinion init...but I felt I should respond and let you know Im not just a yoot who aint ready to break into the scene...Im ready to bring something new.
ya getting me wrong, ya self beliefs a good thing & posiive feedbacks good. But yr in no way ready 2 break into the scene. I dont mean that to be condisending bruv but u are not ready as a rapper to be heard by the masses, what are u bringing that anyone else isnt, what about yr character sets u aside from everyone else, nothing & thats more important than anything without a high level of skill or indepth knowledge of the business. No amount of yes men or shiney JO camera filter will help that.
Your right, but I was told literally to get in there with an old verse and go into the booth as soon as I got there..
I havn't paid my dues yet? Theres more behind me as an artist than that one video bruv. I'm working hard to become an established name in the UK scene. Have you heard the promo mixtape I put out for download? Theres a wider range of style in there..
Dude i know who u are, im not knocking your work ethic, i simply said u were puss n ya bars were gash. I was commenting on the video, u wanted to take it out of the context of the video. On a personnal level im sure ya cool, but my oppinion of ya mc ability is an educated one. I believe ya unevolved as a rapper, your a yoot which means u have time. Im jus saying ya not at a level to warrent popping yet just JumpOff are out of posterboys !! Im not a sway fan but at least he is a complete artist.
Hush Puppy !! spot writing is a standard part of being an artist. If u cant pen a good 16 in an hour and a half your playing at being a rapper. Im not being negative for the sake of it. My oppinions on JumpOff bare no relevance to my oppinions on u. As i said im not saying u wont improve im saying u aint paid ya dues & u havent learnt ya trade properly so youve come out too soon. Now if u ever do become half decent youve lost ya impact. Too many heads are beggin to be heard b4 having the skills.
around me loudly proudly/ shouting pounding surrounding.. Theyre beginners multi's, with very little relevance, he might as well be saying lyrical myrical spritual criminal. Im not saying he doesnt have the right idea, or that he wont improve im saying at present his bars are gash, kiddies limmericks !
whats a shame is its put across like a joke but most of what sway was saying is true, wasteman business types tryna make a bucket of change off our scene. LNC is puss, his bars are gash and this whole thing is typical of jumpoff, no soul in the music just a camera with a nice filter to make everything look shiny.

Not entirely sure about a new WRC...think they are need sponsorship to be able to run it.
Hope I helped a lil piece bro...
