Well I said I'll state facts as often as I can. But when my opinions are backed up with the statistical evidence is where my opinion gains validity. Now PPG. I usually dont like going off of stat avgs but its what we have for now lol. 26.8 for Kobe and 28.4 for LBJ. In order to speak on this stat you have to factor in a few things. 1st talent of team. LBJ has less surrounding talent than Kobe IMO but to avg pretty much the same as someone that has less scoring threats is a big feat.
2nd- Offensive scheme- Fact...the cavs ran 95% of their plays with LBJ touching the ball. (i.e. the Orlando series) Triangle offense....a scheme that involves much passing and getting the ball into everyones hands through everyones hands...Kobe only touched the ball on 85 percent of plays when on the floor...meaning LBJ has the ball way more than Kobe. So being how Kobe is a jump shooter....he is more efficient per possession. Your turn lol

Hey Wade had my vote as well...but I wouldnt have had an issue if Kobe got it cuz its harder to maintain your stats with more talent on your team. We will begin with the small things. Defense. Man on ball defense. Kobe is clearly better. Kobe has 9 all NBA defensive honors to LBJ's 1. LBJ started coming in and kobe didnt for 2. Meaning thru six years that Kobe had more than LBJ could have in 6. This is a fact. Im gonna give facts instead of opinions as much as I can. Well I said I'll state facts as often as I can. But when my opinions are backed up with the statistical evidence is where my opinion gains validity. Now PPG. I usually dont like going off of stat avgs but its what we have for now lol. 26.8 for Kobe and 28.4 for LBJ. In order to speak on this stat you have to factor in a few things. 1st talent of team. LBJ has less surrounding talent than Kobe IMO but to avg pretty much the same as someone that has less scoring threats is a big feat.

2nd- Offensive scheme- Fact...the cavs ran 95% of their plays with LBJ touching the ball. (i.e. the Orlando series) Triangle offense....a scheme that involves much passing and getting the ball into everyones hands through everyones hands...Kobe only touched the ball on 85 percent of plays when on the floor...meaning LBJ has the ball way more than Kobe. Kobe lead the team in assists (4.9) LBJ (7.2) that is 2.3 more assists per game which kobe could cover had he handled the ball as much as lebron. Blocks and steals- the factors of this are age and size frame. Blocks LBJ has a big size advantage and gets alot of blocks from help side D. Very rarely does he block jumpers. 24 and 30- nuff said...lets see if LBJ blocks as much at 30 as he does now. Your Turn

In reality LBJ has almost 3 inches on Kobe. Kobe is 6'5 1/2. Listed at 6'6. LBJ is more athletic now. But as I sad b4. Were comparing a 30 yrs (13 yrs) to a 24 (6 yrs) LBJ will also lose a step at 30. No1 can escape father time. Rebounding you have to factor style of play. Kobe is a jump shooter now. The court for his team. This is why I dont like going off avgs and stats because the talent surrounding you affects that. Kobe shot 46.7 from the field as primarily a jump shooter which is damn good. The top 10 starting SGs in the league (kobe included at #6) shot a collective avg of 46.8 for the season. Meaning that 4 starting SGs shot worse than kobe and Kobe only shot .1% less than the top 10 Sgs in the league combined (him included). So the percentage argument is dead. Your turn.

Youre giving me your opinion when I have told you why Kobe's other offensive stats fall just short of LBJ...he has the ball less and plays in a way more complex offense with more offensive threats to support him. (Fish, Kobe, Pau, LO, pre injury bynum, Brown,Ariza,) any of which could drop 20 on a good night. Any opinionated argument you give me I can defend with factual statements. LBJ great player and would not take that from him but Kobe for now is still the man.

Dude. The triangle offense is not an excuse man lol its a fact that it, and supporting cast affects what you do on the court. Stretch? Give credit where its due at. Not to mention. The Cavs play in the lesser competitive East. LBJ played bad east teams 3-4 times and Good west teams like 2 times. The Cavs lost the season series to all the NBA Elite Teams. They won not 1 series. They tied with Boston but no1 should be surprised the Magic beat them. ORL won the season series 2-1. They got exposed when it mattered. LBJ did all he could but it wasnt enough. He missed alot of clutch FT's though down the stretch.
