Once Mr. Bungle! came out with the album "California" he played a bunch of gigs where ALL of their previous works were re-done so that they all sounded California-esque.

Note how on this same tour he did a cover of lady gaga's poker face in the same style as this rendition of Epic.

ALSO, they had ONLY planned on a RE-UNION TOUR, NOT a full-fledged RE-UNION. learn your facts.

Also, if you watch Tomahawk live or Peeping Tom or the Fantomas Melvins Big Band, then you know that he has already developed beyond his earlier works. This is a step down for him, and this version sounds heavily influenced by Fantomas since he is doing more vocal tricks. Fun Fact: no one can do a cover of his songs when he does that.
