  • NSU BAND IS A DISCIPLINE BAND THAT EMBODIES THE SPIRIT OF WHAT A BAND DOES TO MISMERISE THE CROWD WITH A POWERFUL AND BALANCED SOUND, IN TUNED, AND THE MASTERY OF MDFS.....KEEP UP THE TRADITIONS OF OLD AS THIS BAND ADDS POSITIVE PIECES TO ITS HISTORY...I LOVE NSU AND ALWAYS WILL....THESE OTHER BANDS JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND.....

  • that makes fun to look at that man :)

  • this jank never gets old...too clean and choppy

  • they should go up against cold steel

  • its videos from a band brawl they had one has cold steel's show and the other has MDFS show...and trust me cold steel took a L that day

  • @347826able thats like the funniest thing i heard since ombama clownin on donald trump

  • nice very clean

  • now that was a show

  • If there were ever a competition within the MEAC of drumlines, I gotta say that NSU would be a difficult match for Cookman, FAMU and SCSU.

  • oh man... i gottta say; b4 i saw dis video, i was a cookmanhead; dat was b4 i saw dis video

  • I attended NSU and these guys even wow me! I want my line just like this!!!!

  • very well... but i have seen it before... is it from blast????

  • hell na it aint from no blast this drumline may have corps technique but everything they do is original

  • MDFS has done again ladies and gentleman...who eva dat band was n da background, my sympathy is wit u! da snares was choppin it up, da basses was sendin crazy rolls, da cymbals was gettin down, n da quints...o my god, dey jus killed it! plain n simple! simply da best!(besides BCU)

  • What if we had to choose 2 of our best hbcu percussion section (bcu&norfolk) against any 2 DCI drumlines who would when??? Of course SUDDEN IMPACT & MDFS

  • good call

  • unique I had hated on you a bit from one of your previous comments but you hit that one on the head. Good look

    30 Years of EXCELLENCE!

We stand on the shoulders of some very Accomplished Brothers. Let us continue to produce extremely talented Percussionist. When asked, be proud to say......

I HAIL FROM THE MILLION DOLLAR FUNK SQUARD!

    RhythmSensei.

Take a moment to observe some of the Original Members.(page fav's)

  • i gotta say, this is the most entertaining block MDFS has ever done. every year the BOTB vs. NCAT goes down, it has always been MDFSs tradition to have a chopping but boring show. I see them moving into a new era for their line, and it is far more interesting. All the best of luck in the future, guys.

  • the last tenor player that played the lick they passed down was so freakin clean. No Rim At all!

  • damn that shit sented chills over whole body.....thats a hella of a block

  • NSU is one of the tighest, cleanest, and best drumlines out there! Just want to see you and the BOX go at it. That would be something to behold, the Box and the green & GOLD! LOL!!!!!!!

  • I'm not at all musically inclined, but I am a graduate of NSU and am just blown away at how talented our students are... AMAZING!!!!

  • impressive. Im about to do ODU's 1st drumline but don't think they'll be any good.

  • that was the rawest performance ever...they killed it

  • that was hot...i had to watch it twice...

  • Now that is the way a Drumline( Go Snares) is suppose to sound. Great Job NSU. I was wondering was there EVER going to be an HBCU Drumline that can play Corpstyle yet show the traditional HBCU Show Case Style of performance for the audience. I am so tired of these HBCU Lame Drumlines with repetitive cadences over and over again that goes so tiring to listen to. You know how it going to sound at the beginning of each measure. This 2008 and not 1968. Again Great Job Drumline. Others Look & Listen.

  • there is bcu i think both nsu and bcu are the best hbcu lines out there these two set the standards for all hbcu lines out there

  • BCU Drumline are pretty ggod, but NSU Drumline are "GREAT". BCU comes no where the NSU Drumline. I have been a percussionist for years, and I must say that not one HBCU Drumline comes close to the sound projection and visuals that NSU Drumline possess. I think BCU Drumline may have more in numbers but BCU are out of their league when being compared to NSU. I did'nt atttend neither of those Universities therefore I am impartial. NSU area are far more the best Drumline among HBCU'S. Great JOB NSU.

  • The BCU Drumline are pretty good, but NSU Drumline are "GREAT". BCU comes no where near the NSU Drumline's greatness. • I am so Happy that I had the chance to play quads in the squad of quads with the MDFS back in 85-86... if anyone has any footage of that year would you please pass it on...

  • I too, must echo the sentiments that most past members of MDFS have voiced here. "How proud we are." However,if I may...give a HUGE shout out to ALL the section leaders past and present. You have embodied the discipline of raising the bar just a little higher than your predecessor, and because of that commitment, we are now admired by MANY. As the Great One(TimeKeeper)said, it is an Honor earned...Not given. ALL members know what it takes & took to be a part of this "Prestigious Ensemble!"

  • dat shyt was rockin @ 6:30

  • Thats what its about. The FUNK, the whole FUNK, and nothing but the FUNK. Long live the hits of 2&4.
