@akolt100 With my experience on ebay I got sick of it because some people have automatic bids. I waited until the last 10 seconds to place my bid on the ebay items I wanted and someone outbidded me the millisecond I put in my bid in! I discovered they have automatic bids where the computer does it for you. So if someone has automatic bidding and their max is $40, no one will win that item unless someone else puts in more than $40. It's stupid.
@akolt100 I should also add that by the time most bids end they aren't that far off from Amazon's prices by the time you calculate in the shipping. For example, I tried bidding on Donkey Kong Country Returns on ebay, but stopped because it went all the way up to $36, plus $4 in shipping, which equals $40 total. Amazon has it listed as $39.99 as of right now, with free shipping. Difference is you don't have to sit on your computer all day, waiting til the last 10 seconds to place your bid.

I think both sites are better in some ways. Ebay is your first resort to find cheaper items. However if the bid turns than the usual price, Amazon's the best place to be, they have a reasonable shipping fee, and you can buy it right away!
amazon is a very good website, but ebay have better prices and if you are a good buyer you have to check out the seller reputation before you buy... doing this you will never get ripped off !!!
