This test is a sensor noise test and a function test.

HV30 has cinema mode, and is the best to take a high-level cinematic image.

Incidently, the body internal organs mic of HV30 is famous because the sound is bad. An external mike is necessary.

XR500V + cinema mode = perfect cam :(

The new active mode looks pretty impressive. Would be interesting to know if you see resolution loss or other artifacts. Also if you shoot in low-light make sure you switch the HV30 in 30p (+cinemode). You gain 1 stop light sensitivity.
