  • super film of the greeting from Polish ;p

  • To Kielus93

Serdeczne podziękowania i pozdrowienia dla Ciebie.

  • and that they need weigth on front of tractor, poor little guy :D

  • super

  • To PIETER6441

    Thank you.

  • Yes I agree it is a bit different to Ken Davies Blaenwern haha

  • @balmesh Seeing as this kit is so expensive surley they have proper experienced workforce doing this, or is this the standard in Holland (these parts)? Would love to do a short season out there

  • To hywelisthebest

The kit is expensive, but these drivers don't go around smashing it up! It's very competitive and costs have got to be kept down to survive. There are three large contractors just in that one small town. I know a lad who was offered a year on a dairy farm there - all the modern robotics - but he didn't go.

  • @balmesh you've got to be competitive but but when the trailers nearly full and the tractors spinning like that stop filling it!! chopper driver needing a few season in west of Scotland and Ireland to get some proper wet weather experience lol

  • To paraffindan

I thought the same while filming it, but on reflection I realise that a few bucket-fulls of maize is not going to make a scrap of difference in that situation - and I guarantee that driver's been there before and knows exactly what he's about. They know ALL about wet weather driving in Holland - look at some potato lifting videos for Holland, this year!

  • Hell would love to go out there for maize or silage net year, get a chance to see the beautiful scenery too

  • To hywelisthebest

Well, it is certainly a country where farming is important, and the forage-collecting goes on all year (there's zero-grazing for you in winter).

  • Very nice video, 5*

  • To phill903

    Thanks very much.

  • 6wd, nice.

  • Alan I better not comment, as others have done well!

    I will only type LOL

  • He'd got a good load on there already, no wonder he got in trouble. Just shows how wet it is though when the empty trailer gets has trouble!

  • To itlldoktm

Thanks for the comment. In the wet they just have to bat on, and the actual decisions taken I am content to leave to the guys who are

    1) There.

    2) Know their job.

    3) Have all the data I don't have for making up their minds.

  • Suppose its easy to criticise, maybe they have alot to harvest and a short window to do so. Your right about the all word maybe should have used most! Why do they use such big tractors and trailers? Are decent drivers hard to find so have less and just bigger kit?

  • To TJbankville

One contractor told me he'd got bigger trailers to have fewer of them, and save on drivers! Another told me (and this one is around 70 years old) that drivers these days have been spoiled by Four Wheel Drive, and no longer know how to get about in difficult conditions. Interesting point of view.

  • how come all sp drivers are obsessed with putting a round on a trailer? even with such big trailers and especially when things are wet? Maybe im just a grumpy farmer lol

  • To TJbankville

One thing I have learned over the years - not to be afraid of saying "Don't know". The drivers know, of course, but I haven't asked them. Oh yes, and the word "all" should be banned from discussion!

  • nice vid alan! the krone eat a lot of corn! xD

  • To jonycarlao

That 12 row header eat of lot of anything - rabbits too! Only trouble - trailers have to run further away.

  • @balmesh hehe rabbits are for the lunch or dinner! xD

that is a hard corn silage! lot of tractors stuck!

  • To jonycarlao

We call it maize - and I thought most of Europe called it Mais or something similar? Land very wet in Holland and here also (but we have rock under the ground in Holland, nothing but soft soil).

  • @balmesh we in portugal call "silagem" xD

  • To jonycarlao

No, sorry, that means silage. Maize is just one type of silage. Grass is another, and you can make silage with Kale, Cabbage, Brewers Grains, Waste Corn-Flakes etc. Portugese for Maize is "Milho" according to Google.

Não, desculpe, o que significa silagem. O milho é apenas um tipo de silagem. Grama é outro, e você pode fazer silagem com Kale, repolho, grãos Brewers, Waste Corn-Flakes etc Português de milho é "Milho", segundo o Google. Regards . . . . Alan

  • Alan whats this i hear music :P well i never

  • To AgriVidsProductions

See comment above. I didn't do it!

  • Tuff conditions there. I never knew that you could get a driving axel with the joskin trailers, handy !!

  • To desjack1

Yes, Wim, the owner and Krone driver, told me the driving axle and steering axles and other etcs double the cost of them. But needful.

  • Sound like we're going to the jungle or some were with that music! Didn't need the music even though some one probably requested it. It's a shame I love hearing the JD engines going flat out but the music was louder then the tractors :( Not surprised they got bogged after the rain then the 30 ton trailer. What happened to that case of theirs? That towed them before. Hope ur well Alan

  • To jordankeeps

Music a total surprise to me! It came with the software and I forgot to turn it off. The Case appears in later videos, I think, but wasn't around (or the driver wasn't available) that day. All the drivers are "volunteers" the Case driver told me - and he sells Case tractors for a living. One of the drivers I saw on a previous farm had to go back to school.
