No more for now Im afraid. I've kinda stopped flying for other pursuits. I'll still fly once and a while, but my frequency of going to fly with the boys has dropped pretty much to nothing.
@o0dekker0o yes, this is the belt version. As for plastic tail grips, I dont think so if I remember correctly. I think I upgraded to some metal tail grips (non-Align).
@o0dekker0o Yep. It sure does. The metal ones just make the tail response a little snappier as there's very little flex in the tail. But really, it didnt make much difference, even with using carbon tail blades instead of plastic.
@o0dekker0o can you suggest a good but not too expensive charger and psu. I would like to charge 2 x 6s at one time but if this too expensive i can handle 1 x 6s at a time
very smooth flying..i have a 600 nitro been thinking alot on selling it for a 500 electric but i know i will miss the smell and sound or maybe the 550e
@hoffbran I think the 500E is the best bang for buck. Although the 600 has better presence and power over the 500E, it also costs a lot more to run. ie parts and batteries etc.
Love this type of flying. Really don't see the appeal of ufo 3d flying, this is much more watchable. Was your pack empty? what flight times are you getting on your 2600?
Yeh, Im definitely not a serious fan of 3D heli flying either. I do appreciate the difficulty of flying 3D but really prefer to fly with grace and precision over aggressive maneuvers.
Yep, I empty a pack over 5mins with 3.6-3.8v in each cell remaining.
Fantastic flying, this was much better than Mosquito Flying. Your landing was beautiful, better than the Chicken Tail In approach. Five Stars All The Way.
Thanks Leo. I try to always land nose in :) Always looks cooler having the heli look at you as it approaches its landing. My old mentor Steve(old) taught me that.
Very nice flying! It's great to see some F3C Style aerobatics instead of the overdone 3D stuff we see all the time. Any luck finding an F3C style fuselage for the 500? Also have you looked into flybarless at all? Supposed to be less drag allowing you to carry through more of your momentum through the manuevers allowing larger loops.
wow tuboyut, now I'm a fan! also saw your copterx vid and theyre both great. keep your vids coming. was surprised that you were just using a dx6i, i thought you were using something more expensive.just goes to show that, you cant buy talent :)
good...f3c

Nice F3C flying. Done with a smaller 500 too. Do you have any newer videos of your flying F3C with the 500 or bigger?
adsfasdf9 5 months ago in playlist F3C style flight
I dont really have a list. I've learnt the maneuvers from watching other F3C pilots on YouTube and RealFlight G4. Practice makes perfect!
Im sure you'll find something if you Google the names of the maneuvers easily enough :) Good luck!

Lovely sport flying - do you have a list of the maneuvers and descriptions somewhere?

nice video and flying, it's fun to watch some big air flying sometimes instead of the usual smackdown!

@tuboyut I bet it still flies really well with the standard plastic tail grips

Awesome flying. really nice to watch, you make it look so easy. I need al lot more practice if I ever want to do those kind of moves.

Yep. I try my best to make it look easy! But really its not ;) Takes lots of practise and love of the hobby!

What kind of canopy is that, and where did you get it?
2SLipo 2 years ago
Its a Fusuno canopy. You can get them from Heli Direct. its my favourite canopy so far because of visibility. ;D

have you noticed the trex500 looks/acts more like a 250 in realflight sim?
it's just so small and snappy..hard to control with how fast the piro rate is.
Thrashaero 3 years ago
I havent flown the 250. Not really interested in getting one either though :|
tuboyut 3 years ago
well, i mean, the t-rex 500 doesn't seem very realistic in realflight. but you probably don't use that either :)
Thrashaero 3 years ago
i can't get enough of this video! music is great and video simply great!

is your trex500 an autobot? :)
