Refrain from using cheats because they sometimes create bugs and mess up the game. When I used a save file that contains a CW cheat it stopped moving and turned off my psp. But if your rlly gonna use a cheat, make sure ur firmware is fixed if ur using psp 3000. Anyway thats all I haveto say. Enjoy the game!! ^_^

Well nfirmwares are normally used if ur psp is version 3000. But if ur psp version is 2000 u dont have to worry about it. A firmware is something like a psp upgrader kit because normally when u buy a 3000 ver. of psp it doesnt actually accept downloaded games due to its version but u have to download it. THe cheat will only mess up the game and turn off ur psp. Thats what happened 2 me

Okay first look at the feature's of Ur psp. IF ur psp home menu button is a ( PS ) sign and not ( HOME) it is definitely a psp 3000. If it is a ( HOME ) one it is either 2000 or 1000. But don't worry either of those two. Also if ur psp has no glare LED or a screen performance that goes bright even while playing outdoors it is a 3000. Also if ur psp is not downloadable it is a 3000 ver. if not it is either 1000 or 3000.

u can use one by downloading CW cheat search it on google. But there are easier ways to do it, 1 is downloading a save file from gamefaqs. This way u can play the game with all weapons and armors fully upgraded and also 99 of all items in the item box and having max zenny even though you wont need it. But I dont really recommend it though you should enjoy the game while you can.

This is a comment to all of the people who say this game is hard:

This game is emant to be challenging. That's why you can't go into a G ranked quest with Village Chief quest weapons and armor (well, you can, but you'll need a friend or two to do the quest for you while you sit back at camp). Every monster has its own set of attacks and movements. You can figure out when a monster is going to do a certain attack or movement by looking at how it moves or *turns* prior ro the action.

Once you are able to recognise what kind of attack a monster is going to do, you wait for a safe time to attack so you don't end up getting hit by the monster you are attacking. In this game, the boss monsters (like wyverns, boss carapaceons, elder dragons etc.) have A LOT more health than you do. You will NOT be able to survive fighting a monster if all you do is charge at it and attack relentlessly without regard for your own survival.

This game taks patience. If you can't sit back and wait until the right time to attack a monster, then you need to train yourself become patient. Do a couple quests against a low level Rathalos or Rathian and try to go untouched. If you can do that, then in theory, you should be able to kill the Hard ranked version of them. The only question is if you can deal enough damage to them before your time runs out.

Always upgrade your weapon if possible. If you don't have enough materials to upgrade it, then just go out and *farm* the monster that you need to in order to get the materials you need. Some of the materials you need may be in an unaccessable rank at that moment. These materials will either be named (insert material name here) with a "+" after it, or "hard" or "strong" (insert material name here).  If you cannot get to the materials you need, then you need to increase your hunter rank.
