  • @akshatagrawal1 florescent tubes have them in it

  • No cam for someone living in the past with anything burning man related.

  • Heh heh heh heh, I see I'm not the first to notice the combination of brains and 'braun' you have. I'll add that you have a beautiful voice. I kind of forget what you're talking about because of it. Could be worse, no?

  • How would you modify your EL Wire design in order to produce an EL Ribbon?

  • @ObiTrev It would be a stack up type arrangement on plastic. I posted a video about EL stackup.

  • OMG! This is the sexiest YT channel I've ever watched. I would marry you if I could :)

  • I had no idea this was possible, or so "simple" - well, when you know how. Thanks for taking the time to share!

  • Saw the dead pixel, paused the video at a point where it was more obvious and started using a pencil rubber to try and get it going again (tip i read a long time ago)

After a couple of tries i give up and am fairly disappointed that i have a dead pixel but continue watching. Turns out id paused just before you mention the damn thing :)

  • For the next vid, could you plz drink out of that yard glass?

  • im flabberghasted. wow that is so very very cool. I want to cover the bottom of my car in that now.

  • Jeri, Our work benches look alike. Just push stuff back to make room for today's experiment! lol It's actually a cool organizaitonal system, organized the way the brain works. Older stuff is just pushed back a little further. You can find anything you want by digging into the layers about where they ought to be and while you're looking, you find lots of other stuff organized chronologically.

  • YO I THINK U GOT A DEAD PIXOL ON UR CAMERA

  • @bunchof6 lol

  • thanks for commenting on the dead pixel..... I was thinking it was my screen until I shook the browser window ;-)

  • lol I thought the dead pixel was dust on my screen and wiped at it right as you mention that it's on your end!

You're always doing the coolest projects. Subscribed.

  • Great guide, Thanks.

  • Comment removed

  • whoa you totally made me think my lcd got a dead a pixel, until you mentioned it!..

  • You totally have a dead pixel :P

    Cewl vid.

  • Could you use CFL tubes from say laptop LCD back lights to drive them or do I need to wait for the next video on power supplies? Hey can't hurt to ask . ;) I just have a box of them from doing repair work and never though of a use for them.

  • Oohh that's what that spot is!

  • You could probably average the dead pixel with it's surrounding pixels and no one would ever notice...

  • @gushhnet I was actually going to suggest that, that I noticed you did it first.

  • Lol I have a dead pixel on my 56" LCD Tv for gaming and I sit 3 feet away when I play, and it really is starting to throw me off. But just take a magnet to it and it revives it. No to strong of one or you'll screw other pixels over.

  • Is there such a thing as pixel heaven?!

    Thanks for the guide :)

  • A laser killed your pixel... amirite? My camera has a ton of dead pixels, but it hardly shows up on video.

  • LEAVE THE DEAD PIXEL ALONE !

  • very cool could make for some awesome hardware ui interfaces with arrows that grow to point out issues perhaps instead of just a round error led. gaming applications too!

  • Can you use the two pieces of ECW? Must one be bare?

  • Um, I think you have a dead pixel in your camera :P

Cool experiment and what are the voltages again? I heard 100V but what amperage? Can't be that much. Also got 60kHz
