TOKYO — Hatsumi Shibata, who released numerous hit songs including My Luxury Night, died of acute cardiac infarction Saturday at her home in Ito, Shizuoka Prefecture, her office said Monday. She was 57. Born in Tokyo, Shibata, whose real name was Hatsumi Hosoai, started singing at an officers club at a U.S. military base at the age of 9.first record in 1974 with the song Aikagi (Duplicate Key), My Luxury Night.
