just want to clarify something... singers like this guy who always sing on the edge of breaking their voice and that try to keep a "dirty" rasspy voice all the time tend to sound live a little bit untidy. that doesnt mean they are BAD...i think austin is a singer with a great and unique voice, but has a hard time sounding live as good as in studio.. hell even a monster both gifted and techical singer as chris cornell has had bad live performances!

i love hinder, austin winkler is an AMAZING singer. they rockkk.. they're one of the best bands everrr :)

Hinder Rocks,live performances are always a little different. Either you like them or you dont. And you guys shouldnt just judge them by the live videos cuz live video always records crappy sound. I've been to many rock concerts and almost all bands sound good live, its just because the sound tech always blast the volume way to damn loud to where it distorts!

Youtube videos are a horrible way to compare the actual live performance. The sound is terrible compared to actually being there. You're right. I seen hinder once and I had a blast.

But nothing against you man i love this band live and on CD, but ofcourse on CD they are better

well nobody can sound exacly the same live as they do on the final record. but listen to keith urban play live. he can sound pretty darn close to the cd. its just live, this guy dont sound much like the record. that dont mean hinder aint good. the music itself is pretty insane. "better than me" AMAZING song. its just a shame that this guy cant acually do that stuff with his voice.

I've seen 2 live shows, both were very good.

So in my opinion he has proved to be a good singer... But what if he has a bad cold? The show must go on!
