  • what was that advert he was in again back in the day? Most people in London never acknoledged S.A hip-hop until I played them this tune now they can't get enough of it

  • One of the classical track in book, Tumi u dope, you like a hip hop scientists

  • Tumi & The Volume' s Live @ The Baseline and The Roots 's Come Alive definitely go down as history's best live perfomance albums: Pure Art.

  • This is real, sincere, deep and relevant music - and the musicians and the girl singer are so very good.

Bless you Tumi - artistes like you and your amazing band are one of the true voices of rap and music in Africa!

Vive Africa - The Continent of the 21st Century!

  • The same God.

  • same god, buddhists, hindus and jews face??? wtf, read, dummy, buddhists are atheists, hinduism is politeist, and jews believe in one god. LOL, hard to be smart, eh?

  • @kcarnivore

Way to make an ass of yourself. Buddhists see gods, if they exist, as being trapped on the same wheel as mortals. They aren't atheists, its just not central to Buddhism to be a theist. Nonetheless, most Buddhist traditions venerate local gods that preceded Buddhism. I have a book here by the Dalai Lama where he discusses it.

And have you heard of artistic license? Literal mindedness when appraising art makes the critic look sillier than the thing he is criticizing.

  • This lady has a great voice, its ultra soulful, you cant deny her, big up to Tumi, the brother is quite tough.

  • Tumi & the Volume are so damn talented. I'm not a big hip hop fan but guys like Tumi are an exception. Poetry, rhythm and political sense in one perfect package.

  • You should check out the Roots aswell. They got a good couple of tracks similar to this

And the rest of Tumi's catalogue, lots of great stuff there.

  • Tumi!!! aka Fatboy! Me and Tumi used to go to high school together in South Africa. Used to freestyle during breaks and play basketball in the afternoons...damn, I always knew he had skills, but I'm happy to see he's blown up like this!

People of the Light we need to go back to dat real shit and stop listening to mainstream that the rich white man produce for us. One Love.
