  • Stupidity at it's finest. Result of years inbreeding.

  • fuck all that, i'd rather much just shoot them.

  • wonder how much longer he will be alive

  • awesome ..a man in tune with the animal..the best tool he has is his instinct!

  • awesome,dude.

  • thanks brother.

  • A like your style onebear,In the tradition of the old time snakeshows but with a healthy respect for the natural world.

    Cheers

  • That is very stupid. Last summer I got bit on my hand by a 4.5+ ft. long cottonmouth because I had it by the tail and I did not have my tongs, just a hook. It was about 5 in. in diameter and as strong a arnold schwazzeneger. I was expecting a strike and ready to let go and it still came up and bit me through 1 ft. of water quicker than I could even think about letting go. That rattlesnake could have done the same. Be CAREFUL.

  • Thanks brother, I hope you have recovered well from the Mocc bite.

  • Thank you for your worry, but I am totally fine and have learned my lesson, I'll use tongs if I can.

  • Love all kinds of animals! maybe snake is an exception!

Onebear, you are my man!! Yeah, put them back where they belong-> SWAMP!!!!

  • OneBear...You are a GOD!

  • Dude that was so awesome! I wont try it because Ive done it with cottons but hell no to rattlers!

  • Are you sayin you just grabbed one and tamed it right there or caught it and tamed it after. Thats what I do, catch and then tame.

  • I dont know, they come crawling to me. Literally.

  • Not too smart. My cottonmouth bite cost 30 thousands dollars, but I had insurance so a lot less. But I know what its like, fun and addictive. But the hospital

is NOT fun. Food sucks, they wake you up at night. 3 thousand per vial of antivenom.

  • Yeah thats what I have hear about hospitals. Hope you are doing well?

  • hatchlingcopperhead thanks for the comment..to answer your question " no " I have been very lucky. Thank GOD..I have had many close calls,I try not to free handle unless I need to..its all about unerstanding and respect, some disagree. if the snake doesnt feel threaten then the chances are it will not bite "if you handle them right" but why take the chance..lots could go wrong.. I did it for myself to loose my fear of venomous snakes n textbook ways, thanks ONEBEAR

  • Have you ever been bit?

  • nice,but u mean steve irwin style!!!!
