The Classics edition of Dumbo is EXCEPTIONALLY difficult to find these days. I don't think amazon has any listed as far as I can see. I just got ahold of the '89 release of Bambi for chump change...some dumb cluck doesn't know what he's got!
Of course, you'll notice that the print used for this tape is a lot more saturated than the print for the 1985 and 1987 VHS tapes. Some say it's TOO saturated.
@superfunforeveryone also all of the original RKO titles will be on this year's Blu-ray. If you want a sneak peek if you don't have a Blu-ray player, superfunforeveryone, just type in "Dumbo Part 1 HD" on YouTube. While the opening music aburptly ends as always I think you'll get to see it in its 1940's RKO style with the logo and union bugs.
On the DVD version they restored the original RKO Radio logo.

It's funny that the print date on my copy says 4/16/1991 but the tape master is the 1987 release and still keeps the sticker lable

Here's something we should have in EVERY SINGLE VIDEOCASSETTE/DVD/BLU-RAY: no previews. Plain and simple. Not one, not eight but none.
