How is he with other dogs? I've read airedales can have aggression problems with other dogs but never heard how they are from an actual owner

@Kiwix286 I have a girl, 9 now, she is not at all aggressive towards people, has problem with two females of the same size from the neighborhood, totally ignore others and chase small animals. I am trying hard to teach her that that is not allowed but she acts offended because she is very proud of what she is doing. Also very protective of our havanese baby, dog who shows any dislike towards him is her eternal enemy.

they'll protect you, but won't initiate the fight. they don't pay attention to others much. i had two airedales, so that's my experience.. :)

@1234canadian1234 They have been trained as police dogs many times... not aggressive but the have huge chompers that can do some damage. Any dog can be taught to be aggressive.

hes awsome, hes a spitting image of my airedale (Foster) when he was young! try doing it with balls, say sit, stay and roll the ball it really helps!

Man, he is REALLY small for a 5 month old Airedale. I have a purebred Airedale and it is 4 months old and almost twice the size of Jack.

I had an Airedale growing up in south africa. His original owners immigrated to the UK, his name was Titus.

He saved our house from robbers twice (unfortunately they resorted to robbing the neighbors).

We immigrated to new zealand a few years later, & brought him with us. It was amazing to see how relaxed he was (less crime), just shows how dogs read your stress.

It was good to let him have a peaceful last 4 years, I had to put him down in '03. Toughest thing ever done.

That is the sweetest little thing! I have an airedale too but she is a bit older. 10 months to be exact. The differences ... Jack can look at a treat without killing it becuase of its master ... my dog would pounce... :) AIREDALES ROCK!!

I used to have an airedale but last holloween someone came to my house and poisoned him. your airedale reminded me so much about him Otis was his name and he always did the fake out thing like your dog does at the beginning. :D so just keep him safe because i know how much it hurts to lose a dog like this.

Reminds me of my airedale when she was a puppy. My airedale is 6 now, I love her so much. She is very smart and knows many things, but she only obedient when she wants to be! If she doesn't want to, she hears me because only her ears move, but she pretends not to hear me! They are such a smart breed.
