you obviously are not a doctoral candidate like i am, because i do see his point. DNA really is a information system with significant content. It didnt come out of nowhere.
Funny how he forgot to mention how the DNA code with all its information also serves as a history book. Billions of years from tadpole to primate all written down and actually debunking the bible.
By reading all of the atheists comments here, it's pretty obvious you atheists have no tolerance at all. All ad-hominem attacks but not a single argument. Does the possibility of God's existence worry you? If not, I see no use in being so harsh and aggressive.
@raponte1955 Endogenous Retroviruses (ERVs) are lingering remnants of failed viral infection, which occurred in an ancestor's sex cell and got propagated in its offspring. The viral insertion site is completely random and finding one in the same location in two individuals indicates they each had that same ancestor. In humans, ERVs occupy about 1% of the genome. There are at least seven different known instances of common retrogene insertions between chimps and humans.
@raponte1955 The existence of the god of the bible does, yes because he's one of the most evil characters in any book I know of. But that's not why I don't believe in him. I only accept things on evidence.
Also, if the Christian god did exists there is no way I would worship him!
I agree. I do understand that some Atheist chose to "Not" believe in God for different reasons. Some may have had a bad experience in life, or a bad experience with a not so good Christian friend or family member that caused them to hate God and to have nothing to do with Christians and Christianity. Some chose to not give God a chance, because they cannot live the lifestyle they please.or
sometimes just because they do not want to be held accountable for their own sins.
@bluelightningx Ask yourself this simple but logical question: why would an intelligent god design us to have to shit out filthy stinking turds? @raponte1955 - You are correct, atheists do not tolerate broken arguments and bullshit. Oh we'll tolerate the fact that we live with a deluded majority that wants to run our lives as they see fit, but we are intolerant. Poor persecuted Christians, those 10% atheists are steamrolling over your 80%, and it's sad because even if there was only one atheist alive and the rest of the world shared the same religion, the atheist would still be right.
@raponte1955 - It isn't any God that would bother us, it's idiot humans like you who claim to know what God wants, despite never hearing or seeing him.
Carl Sagan as an argument for this. REALLY? THIS DUDE IS A COMPLETE IGNORANT. So science gives you evidence of "god" .... because of DNA ..... @MrFyrfly we're the dicks? we don't scare the shit out of people with "hell" if they don't believe in it.whats the first thing the majority of you guys think of when we tell you we don't believe in gods "well your going to hell".
@danielzilla60 I don't believe in hell either. But if you don't believe in it, no reason to be scared. My point is, I don't see why you guys come on videos about God. It doesn't make sense.
@MrFyrfly because the title says " evidence of god:DNA" i wanted to see this said evidence in the DNA.yet his just talking about basic biology that i learned in high school and just giving god credit.
@MrFyrfly thats fine i don't judge people on their beliefs. science has a long way to go to prove it self look the last 100 years science has accomplish allot. look the last decade science is developing so fast.there are so many questions science has to answers i don't blame people in rather believing in religions where they already have said answers while id rather try to find out then believing in something that might not be real.
@MrFyrfly Of course you think it makes more sense. It's always easier to say, "Hey, somebody made it this way" than to say "Damn, we're lucky". Just like it's always easier to turn towards people who say they have all the answers, rather than using logic to try to come up with them yourself. Personally, I'd like to believe....I really would, but dammit, all signs point away from God. Even I tried to use the "Way TOO lucky" argument on myself. Didn't work too well. :/
@killthemwithfirelol What's so logical about us happening in a one in infinity chance? There's an outside force. There's a God. May not be the Religious one we envision. But, there probably is a God that's somewhat responsible for us.
@MrFyrfly I think it is pretty logical we got that 'one in infinity chance'. It may not be too PRACTICAL, but it is LOGICAL. (Sorry, 'bout the caps...can't underline :/). But whereas the big bang is impractical, but logical, the whole God ordeal is somewhat practical, but overall illogical. I'd say if there was a great creator, things should be a bit different, no? Perhaps a bit more evidence than a book whose information had to undergo thousands of years of possible tampering and the such :/
@killthemwithfirelol What book? I don't believe in any Religion. I just believe in a creator that jump started the universe. Different in what way? The fact there's actually life here should be enough evidence.
@MrFyrfly I see what you're saying. Yeah, I kinda think like that too sometimes, but as far as I'm concerned, my personal beliefs on that sort of level don't really affect my daily life too much, so I don't think about it much. Honestly, I don't think I'm really looking for answers at all. There aren't many places to go look.
@MrFyrfly I just think it's not healthy to not ask questions about life. Sure, you could just 'live it out', but what would be the point in that? Don't you think that would sorta 'ruin' it's purpose? We ask questions for a reason. We want to know more about why we're here. Ignoring that doesn't feel right to me.
@killthemwithfirelol Well, to me the purpose of life is to live. But if you're in search of the truth, by all means try and find it! Life is what you make of it. And if you want to know the true purpose of it, nothing is stopping you from finding it out. :)
@MrFyrfly *holding beakers* Stand back! I'll find the truth....with SCIENCE! *smacks them together and explodes*
I digress. :P
There's nothing stopping me but death and mystery. Odds are we'll die before any sort of true light hits our eyes, but regardless, ya, can't give up on that. If there's anything I do know, it's that giving up gets you nowhere.
@killthemwithfirelol But...Death may be the very thing that holds the answer after all. :o Whether it is or not, I have a feeling at the end of it all, we'll all know the truth.
@MrFyrfly I've had feelings about a lot of things. Too hit and miss for me. I'd rather go out and look than wait and see. It's like that for a lot of things, actually.
@MrFyrfly you know, we spend a lot of time looking OUTSIDE the Earth. I always wanted to know a little bit more about the inside, more specifically ourselves. One would figure if you want to know know about yourself, your very being would be the best place to start. Cells, is what I'm getting at :P
@killthemwithfirelol Can't go wrong with that either. :P But in a strange way, it probably correlates with the universe as well. Regardless, wherever you start is a good place. The truth is out there. Who knows, it might be easier to find than you think. :)
@killthemwithfirelol Not necessarily. It depends on where we look, or how we do it. And we haven't used every method there is. There's a lot of things we haven't done. :P
this guy uses the same trick as every1 else. he talks abt how miraculous this world is n shoves the credit to some make believe entity called god. shit just happens dude, shit just happens
that movie is fiction dude, we never received prime numbers from space aight, dun take some movie/novel n talk as if it rly happened. btw recently proven that nucleobases that make up dna were found in carbon rich samples of asteroids. simply put: dna can b created by non biological compounds
This man is hilarious. None will ever know how the universe or humankind came about. Seeing is believing. No one has spirit eyes or hollow man bodies. Just live. You will go nuts trying to figure out a supernatural force that is not visible.
"Nature doesn't create information. It can produce patterns, no problem, but not information." What's the difference? Think about crystals. They form without a shred of DNA "information", and yet their forms are complex and intricate. Naturally occurring order, which can be chemically expressed as a code.
@miketsiaras No. DNA has always existed in humans. We have just recently began descovering how complex it is. And to assume that its complexity arose from a random process (evolution), is absurd. It must have a creator or mind behind it.
@camthejock no you are wrong, we are just a planet one in billion, so lucky dont even forget how you were born.. ur father musterbated so many times and each time million of sperms...and you are one lucky motherfkr!
No, you should not be serious about that. If more than 50% of the worlds population wasn't stupid, then who would do physical labor? Of course if everyone was intelligent then there would be machines to do all the work. But different inventions and discoveries made my intelligent individuals are ment to be enjoyed/used by civilians. Which in most cases would be stupid.
@Rchamb21 no i think they're dumb because they think a god made dna. its absolutly ridiculous.you or whoever can believe what you want. i dont care but what makes these kinda of people dumb is the fact that they ignore the scientific reasearch behind dna and evolution or whatever and just say god did it all. if you dont kno something about the world figure it out! dont just say "this is hard to understand so there must be a god !" that kind of thinking is what i think is dumb.
LOL The only thing mindbogglingly here is how much this guy will lie.

@MrFyrfly Well, then, looks like we'll need a good handful of luck as well. We can't search everything at once, you know.

this guy uses the same trick as every1 else. he talks abt how miraculous this world is n shoves the credit to some make believe entity called god. shit just happens dude, shit just happens
lronSausage 6 months ago
that movie is fiction dude, we never received prime numbers from space aight, dun take some movie/novel n talk as if it rly happened. btw recently proven that nucleobases that make up dna were found in carbon rich samples of asteroids. simply put: dna can b created by non biological compounds

Naturally occurring order, which can be chemically expressed as a code.

so english was created by humans? dna was created by god? lol ! thats a serious proof! hahahaha
miketsiaras 7 months ago
@miketsiaras The language is irrelavent. We just use english letters to classify DNA, genius.
camthejock 7 months ago
@camthejock so? men are smart..sometimes obviously. . . . .
miketsiaras 6 months ago
@miketsiaras No. DNA has always existed in humans. We have just recently began descovering how complex it is. And to assume that its complexity arose from a random process (evolution), is absurd. It must have a creator or mind behind it.
camthejock 6 months ago
@camthejock no you are wrong, we are just a planet one in billion, so lucky dont even forget how you were born.. ur father musterbated so many times and each time million of sperms...and you are one lucky motherfkr!
miketsiaras 6 months ago
1000 million = 1 billion bro ;)

how much crap can this guy tell me b4 my head explodes
William81Edge10 7 months ago
No, you should not be serious about that. If more than 50% of the worlds population wasn't stupid, then who would do physical labor? Of course if everyone was intelligent then there would be machines to do all the work. But different inventions and discoveries made my intelligent individuals are ment to be enjoyed/used by civilians. Which in most cases would be stupid.

Rchamb21 7 months ago
@Rchamb21 ho man! what makes me dumb sir?
bangbangmcgee 7 months ago
@bangbangmcgee You think other people dumb because they don't have the same beliefs as you. That makes you dumb
Rchamb21 7 months ago
@Rchamb21 no i think they're dumb because they think a god made dna. its absolutly ridiculous.you or whoever can believe what you want. i dont care but what makes these kinda of people dumb is the fact that they ignore the scientific reasearch behind dna and evolution or whatever and just say god did it all. if you dont kno something about the world figure it out! dont just say "this is hard to understand so there must be a god !" that kind of thinking is what i think is dumb.
