  • @lauralikes way to low. you need to eat Atleast 1,800 calories for guys and 1,700 for woman a day people think that low calories = skinny but low calories bring health problems. just eat low fat and Work out alot.

  • Sweeten your green tea with Stevia. (In the USA they sell it as Truvia ) Where I live, Canada, you can buy Stevia in plastic containers (like for vitamins) its in powder form and comes with a tiny spoon. 100x sweeter then sugar so only a pinch is needed for the equivalent of 2 teaspoons of sugar. Its basically plant leaves crushed up so you don't have any "sugars" or calories to worry about. Safe for diabetics. Shame its taken years to catch on in the south with the obesity problems.

  • Also, Stevia has been in Canada for years. Check out Japan too. Stevia is safe to use, and I would urge people reading (in the USA) to go research what your FDA (food and drug administration) has done to try and stop this product from A: Reaching your shelves, and also B) Restrict the spread of information on how to cook with it. Very fishy. IMO they have been bought by the sugar companies.

    You can also sprinkle some Stevia on your grapefruits and this will make them a easier to eat. Goodluck!

  • @mollscats it depends on the brand or type of green tea. There are some types of green tea that is just so bitter and some that are not as bitter. Ever tried to add honey?

  • @DurtyHarrys You want both! Although smaller portions than if you were having one. Try having good carbs like Brown pasta or rice before exercise to give you the energy, and then have some protein after, such as chicken. This will give you more energy for the sport and build your body better afterwards

  • I drink hot green tea after I eat. Heard it was an asian tradition b/c it keeps the fat you ingest w/your meal warm so it will pass thru faster instead of sticking to your stomach
