I Think Katt is a better hunter than Bow, Bow's shots have more range, but come off a little slower and harder to anticipate.

Also the Silver DR should last you for quite a long time as it has Holy attribute.

I like how Katt goes from 280 hp when you battle, to 51 or so when you get her. A magical rule of RPGs I guess.
