this is the most surreal thing i've ever seen...i didn't know this happened...among the countless atrocities, Vaka is perhaps their worst video. I agree with statements of playing the actual video to elicit silence...even the 30 second sound clip seemed to hold the crowd down a bit. Why? actually this is the european awards and european audiences generally don't cheer or applaud as much as say U.S. audences. even thom yorke from radiohead has said that about european audiences. doesn't mean they're not grateful or don't know about the band, it's just something they don't generally do. you do hear them begin to cheer after the director's acceptance speech
