both fate extra and fate stay night are awesome.. i love archer. man i still remember, when i was facing assassin, i thought i would die before i complete the projection buff of archer, but luckily i survive.. and talk about secret weapons, unleashing Ultimate blade works was so epic and it got more epic when i unleash it i beat assassin it felt like it was really my last resort to win lol :D

He uses the ideals of his childhood to continue him pushing on withe idea it's okay if he dies saving people because he was suppose to die anyway. He is a disillusioned hero who truly is nothing more than tool that can feel comfort in battle believing he is doing something right.

It's a bad series, a clusterfuck of story and characterization that isn't very well done by any aspect, but which attempts to compensate for its weaknesses by adding in excessive shipping faggotry and DARKNESS. @Rhosius Command seal cant give servant second life. Command Seal gives servant a order what they must do without they cant disobey master orders. You cant use command seal as a revive spell, because it isn't a revive spell.

@Tekkencool TPB is an absolute terrible place to get VNs. I'd suggest getting the Jap CD rip from Hongfire and downloading the patcher seperately, so if @Rhosius wants to apply the non-ero patch he can.
I remember hearing this on the visual novel, when Emiya was fighting Archer and Gilgamesh. I never thought reading could be so intense. I was sweating, nervous and excited cheering for Emiya. The Fate/Stay Night Visual Novel is a legend!
Incorrect, Rho Aias is indeed a Noble Phantasm, the requirement to become a Noble Phantasm isn't a weapon, its to embody the legend of a hero. For example Rider has three NPs and none of them are true weapons but embody what Medusa was famous for. Particularly her mystic eyes, they are treated as NPs because they are what Medusa is most famous for. Most NPs happen to be weapons, but that is not always the case.

Shirou used NLBW, excaliblast, rho aias, rule breaker, crane wing three realm, etc. The "dagger" he reproduced is the gem sword zelretch which is a special mystic code that only magus under his teaching can use it which is why rin can and shirou cannot. The tohsakas was left with the blueprint of the dagger for them. EMIYA never inovke true name is because he has to hide his identity.

Emiya's copies cannot replicate the full power of any weapons over a certain level - this much was admitted explicitly when Archer admitted he could not replicate Excalibur, but could come damn close. They can wield the weapons, but as pointed out in the fight between Shirou and Gilgamesh, neither of them are experts - and thus cannot use it to its full potential.

He couldn't feel any power coming from it and only Rin could use its true power. NP is being activated by saying its true name and putting magical energy into it, yet heroic Emiya never did that, even in the biggest trouble - hence it is safe to assume that he couldn't use their ultimate attacks. Both him and Gilgamesh are only owners.
@Sayafag True that he used Rho Aius, yet it is not a weapon and it is said that weapons are Noble Phantasms (except Berserker who's NP is God Hand - 12 lives). It could be argued that he didn't use any special ability of that shield except its original structure and toughness. He didn't use the name of the sword he projected in the battle with Berserker in 2nd scenario. Names of some of the swords he reproduced are mentioned in fight between Shirou and heroic Emiya, but those weren't used as NP

Since his archery skills were way better than his swordsmanship and he doesn't have any ultimate weapon (Noble Phantasm), he uses reproduced swords as his arrows. Due to his swords being just reproduced, heroic Emiya isn't able to use their true powers. Then it makes sense why archer suits better his abilities.

I think this reality marble and song, if it's used in a game like Dragon Age or something related to those epic stories, will make the user the most powerful badass in the whole kingdom. I actually imagine using the reality marble when playing that game, specially the second one on the duel with that Qunari boss. It'll make that battle easier. Strange how no US or European game developers use this kind of power.

I've commented on this video before, and i'll comment again, as I find myself always drawn back to the Emiya theme no matter where I am in this world. Truly Typemoons masterpiece, scored for the visual, but this song really is part of my blood and music soul. I cannot wait for Fate/Zero as well as the remake of Tsukihime, Typemoon really is the true quality behind most of the animation industry in Japan. Even to this day I remember the first time I played the FSN game, the atmosphere is King.
Its nice that even Shirou gets to be a badass instead of just a glutton for punishment. The seiyuu who does him (plus Sasuke and Ishida) always seems to play smart but stupid characters if you know what I mean

i wish saber didnt have to disappear. kinda wished emiya used the last command seal to force her to get a second life, though like it was said, it wouldve been gained through destruction like all the other wishes before have. that is the nature of the holy grail

@Rhosius Command seal cant give servant second life. Command Seal gives servant a order what they must do without they cant disobey master orders. You cant use command seal as a revive spell, because it isn't a revive spell.

@Tekkencool ah i just saw the 24 episode anime. so they were that much different eh? in the anime it said he could have given her a 2nd life by having her drink from the grail. but as you say it was cursed, but not in the way the novel made it to be it seems. the "curse" in the anime is that all wishes were granted through destruction. thats what i was getting at. cool ill have to check out the novel then

There are Fate route known as original anime series, Unlimited Blades Works and Heavens Feel.
I will warn you tough don't be shocked if there was Hentai scenes in Visual Novel.

Incorrect, Rho Aias is indeed a Noble Phantasm, the requirement to become a Noble Phantasm isn't a weapon, its to embody the legend of a hero. For example Rider has three NPs and none of them are true weapons but embody what Medusa was famous for. Particularly her mystic eyes, they are treated as NPs because they are what Medusa is most famous for. Most NPs happen to be weapons, but that is not always the case.

Shirou used NLBW, excaliblast, rho aias, rule breaker, crane wing three realm, etc. The "dagger" he reproduced is the gem sword zelretch which is a special mystic code that only magus under his teaching can use it which is why rin can and shirou cannot. The tohsakas was left with the blueprint of the dagger for them. EMIYA never inovke true name is because he has to hide his identity.

Emiya's copies cannot replicate the full power of any weapons over a certain level - this much was admitted explicitly when Archer admitted he could not replicate Excalibur, but could come damn close. They can wield the weapons, but as pointed out in the fight between Shirou and Gilgamesh, neither of them are experts - and thus cannot use it to its full potential.

@ManiacNya Incorrect. Emiya tracing can download the true owner of the traced NP skills and able to invoke the true name of the NP. It is Gilgamesh who is only a owner and cannot invoke the true name of his numerous NPs in the gate of babylon.

@kensheestyle he doesnt download them, he analyzes the structure of every weapon and through his specialization in projection he can project the structure he analyzed, so he can project any weapon he is capable of analyzing, which is pretty much every weapon, though he specializes in bladed weapons it seems

@kensheestyle He is able to reproduce their true powers but he cannot use them; good example is the dagger he reproduced for Rin in the 3rd scenario. He couldn't feel any power coming from it and only Rin could use its true power. NP is being activated by saying its true name and putting magical energy into it, yet heroic Emiya never did that, even in the biggest trouble - hence it is safe to assume that he couldn't use their ultimate attacks. Both him and Gilgamesh are only owners.

And I'm quite sure he also did it against berserker when he fired that arrow.

@Sayafag True that he used Rho Aius, yet it is not a weapon and it is said that weapons are Noble Phantasms (except Berserker who's NP is God Hand - 12 lives). It could be argued that he didn't use any special ability of that shield except its original structure and toughness. He didn't use the name of the sword he projected in the battle with Berserker in 2nd scenario. Names of some of the swords he reproduced are mentioned in fight between Shirou and heroic Emiya, but those weren't used as NP

@DarkFireBlade25 He isn't saber since, as mentioned in the beginning of any scenario, Shirou trained archery and he was excellent in it. Since his archery skills were way better than his swordsmanship and he doesn't have any ultimate weapon (Noble Phantasm), he uses reproduced swords as his arrows. Due to his swords being just reproduced, heroic Emiya isn't able to use their true powers. Then it makes sense why archer suits better his abilities.

@lol3ndir He doesn't. Gate of Babylon isn't a power, it's simply a storehouse to hold everything that "belongs" to Gilgamesh. Unlimited Blade Works is a Reality Marble, it literally creates a new dimension that contains every sword EMIYA has ever seen.

I think this reality marble and song, if it's used in a game like Dragon Age or something related to those epic stories, will make the user the most powerful badass in the whole kingdom. I actually imagine using the reality marble when playing that game, specially the second one on the duel with that Qunari boss. It'll make that battle easier. Strange how no US or European game developers use this kind of power.

Today, I listened to the other versions of this song. The one from the anime, the arranged OST, the one from F/HA, the F/Z version, Kenji Kawai's version.
They were never as good as the original.

I've commented on this video before, and i'll comment again, as I find myself always drawn back to the Emiya theme no matter where I am in this world. Truly Typemoons masterpiece, scored for the visual, but this song really is part of my blood and music soul. I cannot wait for Fate/Zero as well as the remake of Tsukihime, Typemoon really is the true quality behind most of the animation industry in Japan. Even to this day I remember the first time I played the FSN game, the atmosphere is King.
