  • ITS BAD TO PUT THE LIGHT ON WHEN PUTTING NEW FISH IN THE TANK AS IT WILL SEND SHOCK TO THERE BODY YOU SHOULD LEAVE THE LIGT OF FOR AT LEAST 4-6 HOURS AND DONT FEED THEM FOR 2 HOURS

  • @trickshotter98 CORRECT! This is a older video when I just started out in the aquarium hoby. At the time in this video I did not know that. If you check out some of my newer vids you will see that I do turn off the lights when acclimating now

  • @1658031 I bought the tank and stand used, which included filter, hood, and some decor (didnt use decor) all for $100. But i already upgraded the filter $30 and the light canopy $140

  • you should get an african butterfly fish,, i have a 40 gallon breeder tank and i am only putting exotic freshwater fish in it,,, also a reed fish or rope fish, they are awesome too.. i found ur viseo doing a search on some leaf fish..

  • @GhostbladeGeneral Oh yeah that sounds cool! South american leaf fish are pretty exotic to, but are hard to find. Mine are african tho. But good luck on the tank! I got some other vids on my leaf fish so check them out if u intrested

  • @ThatFishTankMan63 before you feed them to your leaf fish..hold them in a container and gut load them with pellet that way they have more food in their stomach and your fish will really get the whole package.

  • u should get apongeton bulbs for the back..u get 5 for 2 bucks from walmart and they grow like 15 inches in 15 days
