can we get a look at the guy you married? it would be great if you two prepared a recipe together for all of us who belong to your fan club.... happy new year.
@suppusoora I've not heard that said about olive oil specifically. If you heat any oil hot enough it starts to break down, but the kind of temperatures required to do that in significant amounts would incinerate your food.
I just made this and it is absolutely delicious! I kept thinking of what to do with that cauliflower head in the fridge, but now it's a delicious and warm soup! Thanks Titli! :)
Wow, that's a really simple soup. I need to really buy one of those wizzy toys. I'm too lazy to bring stuff out of the pot and putting em in the blender and back into the pot again.
You've a doctor and he's a cauliflour coming soon. No wonder your bonkers. Thanks for the soup, looks super, will try it later this week. Made your tika masala yesterday, fantastic.
Wondering what I could make for my lunch at work today, I idly check YouTube to catch up on subscriptions. Hurray! This is on the hob, simmering away RIGHT NOW. :D (and also finally managed to use that leftover cauliflower I had sitting in the freezer)!
Hope this is not offense.. But do you leave the house without a man and when you are out with a man, do you walk beside him or behind him? Since your muslim, some of those things are standards for many people it seems. Like that they don't think women should drive cars. But thats not in England as much as in the middle east?
@linnjones A lot of this is cultural. I go out on my own - I'm big enough (175cm, 5'9") and ugly enough to look after myself. My husband and I follow no conventions about who walks in front and we often walk hand-in-hand (shock horror!)
@TitliNihaan A lot of it is cultural. Just like in my supposed religion(Christianity). Where i live their are 2 denominations and both follow slightly different doctrine. I just have faith that all your dishes are lovely.
@linnjones not in my country, i live in the middle east and we drive cars we don't have to go outside with a man, and even if we do why would i walk behind him!!! this is weird, i walk beside him

Hi Titli, I have been wanting to ask you this question for a while since you are from Chemistry background.
Is Olive oil toxic at high temperatures? Please reply. Thank you.
suppusoora 2 months ago
@suppusoora I don't have a chemistry background but I do know that olive oil gets very hot at high temperatures and can burn you.
