Like the songs of Beat Happening and underground contemporaries Reading Rainbow, Times New Viking's recent output elicits a feeling of childlike wonder, as well as a longing for innocence lost, making what was once a great band even greater.
I did a stop motion- claymation project in 8th grade and it took weeks to get about a minute. They have soo much patience to be able to create this (and talent)
@vampiresmile15 Go ahead! I can think of many other things I'd rather be listening to, but that doesn't mean it's not music - all music is subjective. You can't say that because something sounds bad to you that someone else might not find it interesting or even beautiful.
@vampiresmile15 That's not the point - the point is that you have no right what to say what is or isn't music. If everybody took that viewpoint, music wouldn't evolve. What we now find normal - say, harmonies in a Beethoven symphony - were denounced as radical noise when they were first premiered. I am by no means demanding that you enjoy or even appreciate music you don't find to be beautiful, but at least respect the desires of someone else to make or enjoy that music, because they clearly do.
You want Autotune? there's about 100 million other songs with it so have fun.

people really dont understand the beauty of lo-fi recording, the imperfection of this recording is what makes it beautiful and original..

Its like they are singing two separate songs at once. Anyway, it has over 20,000 views so they are to mainstream for me.

@ArtD42 Well if it being "just noise" makes it a good thing, then I guess I'll scratch nails to a chalkboard for 2:58 and see if you like it
