i know this video is rather old, but you should try playing it with a capo on the first fret. other than being the way john originally played it, i think the slight increase in pitch might fit your voice better. i could be totally wrong though, im a rather new musician

Hi Deb, sorry for the late reply. It's been busy lately. Yep, the mic is going thru a pre-amp and into a Delta 10/10 audio card in the computer running Sony Vegas.

The video was also captured in Vegas as the audio was recorded along with it. After recording, I added some effects and rendered it to a .wmv.

Hmmmm my first album...was probably a K-tel greatest hits kinda deal...I distinctly remember "Boys are Back in Town" as one of the tunes, for some reason. I was probably around 10. We mostly bought the 45's.

I didn't used to be, Lindsay was always the Beatles nut, but it grew on me and I LOVE 60/70's music. Can't stand 50's or most 80's tho (cept Metallica). lol.

Thanx Electrick, I'm still working on getting the chromakey effect to look right with Vegas. As you can see, my background looks pretty bad.

Luckily, there are "Chromakey" "How-To" videos on YouTube. I should have "Take 2" finished by the end of the week. I'm planning on micing the guitar this time instead of going in direct. It sounds much better mic'ed.
