Generation 3 is my favorite because it has a lot of good ones in it. But by far my favorite GAME has to be Platinum. It is story driven (and actually has a good story), has a good villain, decent pokemon, a female champion, and this music ftw!

*Though I have to admit, the story Satoshi gave HeartGold/SoulSilver was subtle but gave it some solid construction that I did like a lot.

@MoonFiyr I'm glad I was able to save someone from the pain I went through. And yes, Zubat learns that move, but not until it reaches level 20 something. Gastly learns it at level 8, so use that. Just make sure it's fast so it can get the first move on Mesprit

All of these stories of first turn pokeball catches for the legendaries, and then I think of the 70+ turns I used to catch each of Azelf and Uxie, using Dusk and Timer balls, having them at very low hp and asleep. I feel a bit envious.

I caught Giratina in peal witha pokeball. I caught Palkia and Dialga in Patinum with Ultra balls. But.. I caught Dialga on orange with the first ultra ball. palkia was the 2nd ultra ball.
