Even filled, a B-25 has a capacity of 974 US Gallons with auxiliary wing tanks filled. Other add-on configurations allowed this to approximately double, but still not much. Conversely, a Boeing 747-222 has a fuel capacity of 23,980 US Gallons - so it's got a lot more to burn.
It's funny that people equate this to the World Trade Center when the WTC was comparably poorly engineered to facilitate a faster construction time and was hit by an airplane nearly two and a half times as big as a B-24, not to mention full of a fuel that burns far hotter than the fuel a B-24 would have been carrying. WTC was not some rock of stable engineering.

@CrimsonsDeath12 The World Trade Center had been built with break points in the steel so that if this happened the floor that was hit would collapse on itself and prevent the whole tower from falling, PROVIDED it was hit by a plane circa the era it was built in (the 1960's). It was also built, unlike the Empire State Building, from comparitively weak spray-on concrete which couldn't take the heat of burning JP40.

@perrlywites wow, do a simple test for me then, take a campfire (prob the equivalent heat of jet fuel) take a peice of rebar put it over the campfire for about 20 minutes, take it out and watch how easy it bends... i work with all types of steel on a daily basis and it doesn't have to melt necesarily but it only has to get up around 600 degrees to soften and fail... Dont believe me? search I-car for heating HSS (high strength steel) it aint recomended.

Most of the jet fuel would have burnt off or evaporated within 30 seconds, and all of it within 2-3 minutes (if all 10,000 gallons of fuel were evenly spread across a single building floor as a pool, it would be consumed by fire in less than 5 minutes).

Look at the actual plane, a B-25, still stuck in the building! The plane did not "vaporize". Amazing! Actual plane parts were found in the street! This is what a "real" plane crash looks like! Then came the fires. The firechief consulted Silverstein about the situation and they decided to "Pull" the fire crews from the bldg. knowing it was too damaged to be saved. There was also a noticable bulge on one corner as reported by the fire crews and police. It was no big secret, they knew it would collapse.

@CrimsonsDeath12 The World Trade Center had been built with break points in the steel so that if this happened the floor that was hit would collapse on itself and prevent the whole tower from falling, PROVIDED it was hit by a plane circa the era it was built in (the 1960's). It was also built, unlike the Empire State Building, from comparitively weak spray-on concrete which couldn't take the heat of burning JP40.
tl;dr: Wasn't designed to survive a jet crash, didn't.

Oklahoma was supposed to be flattened but they found the other 2 devices in the building, 1 did the damage that was done, the other defused. The truck didn't do jack. In other words, they screwed up. @perrlywites wow, do a simple test for me then, take a campfire (prob the equivalent heat of jet fuel) take a peice of rebar put it over the campfire for about 20 minutes, take it out and watch how easy it bends... i work with all types of steel on a daily basis and it doesn't have to melt necesarily but it only has to get up around 600 degrees to soften and fail... Dont believe me? search I-car for heating HSS (high strength steel) it aint recomended.

Most of the jet fuel would have burnt off or evaporated within 30 seconds, and all of it within 2-3 minutes (if all 10,000 gallons of fuel were evenly spread across a single building floor as a pool, it would be consumed by fire in less than 5 minutes).

This doesn't prove anything. This plane was much smaller, the two that hit the WTC had an extra digit in weight. That's a fairly sizeable difference in mass, which maybe, just maybe, could cause a slight difference in outcome.

Look at the actual plane, a B-25, still stuck in the building! The plane did not "vaporize". Amazing! Actual plane parts were found in the street! This is what a "real" plane crash looks like! But, in 200, planes vaporize, 4 of them in one day, and steel and concrete buildings turn to "talcum powder." And all of the evidence is quickly sold &/or melted, just like they did in Oklahoma City Bombing, they had it under heavy security until they buried it.

It was also small enough to launch from a carrier.. You're comparing THAT to a 767 that weighed 350,000pds travelling at double the speed with a top fuel capacity of 16,000 gal. 10,000 of it est. on board during the collision. Yes, the plane was smaller with less fuel capacity, but the fact is, the aviation fuel exploded, there were fires caused by the aviation fuel.&the plane did not vaporize.There were actual "plane parts" still in the building & on the street. Some exploded and caused fires down below that fire crews were not able to reach. The fires burned untouched for weeks fed by debris and a seaping flow of O2. Some of the metals melted in the fires. One large steel beam they recovered was bent in the shape of a horseshoe. The only way it could be formed would be from intense heat.

@lllKyLell WTC7 was severely damaged from falling debris from WTC1. 1/4 of the lower south portion of the bldg was scooped out. That left what remained resting on a weakened structure. Then came the fires. The firechief consulted Silverstein about the situation and they decided to "Pull" the fire crews from the bldg. knowing it was too damaged to be saved. There was also a noticable bulge on one corner as reported by the fire crews and police. It was no big secret, they knew it would collapse.

@loonietunnes1 Also, I have yet to hear a reasonable explaination as to HOW (what would would have to be) 10's of 1000's of demolition devices could be rigged to 3 of the tallest bldgs in NYC without a whisper. Occupied bldgs! Removing wallboard, insulation + concrete to expose columns, miles of cable or det.cord and THEN....putting everything back so no one would notice? It takes months to prep a GUTTED bldg. Power is cut from the bldg for safety to prevent accidental ignition. So explain away.

@2020starman WTC1+2, yes. WTC7 No, Nothing more than a diagram of the Transfer truss system located between floors 5-7. What I'd like to see is "Emery Roth & Sons architectural records and papers, 1906-1996" Hopefully there'll be more of WTC7's overall floor plans shown.
