@Augur I guess you can say he was marketable and successful, but that is about it. He is not funnier, especially if you listen to Hick's album. Leary was part of the whole MTV craze. The mass of 14-years olds, including myself, were singing "I'm an asshole," but later as I heard and saw videos of Hicks, it was obvious that Leary was not original.

Leary can handle shots to his ego, so let me have my say. I respect your opinion, but you cannot deny the original content of his material.
