I used 12v to 5000v adapter for computer neon lights, i got it in maplin. about 20euro

5000 v are you nuts? The wall does haven has that much voltage...0.0
Its somewhere between 3000 to 5000v to get the light to work.

its called a transformer, converts 12v to 5000v with eeze how do u think neons work?
