MSI Wind has a Atom N270 processor
MBP has probably a version of Core 2 duo.
You can buy 4-5 Winds for the price of a single MBP.
Yeah the screen size whatever, but you certainly expect more speed from a MBP.
The fuss about macs being faster is a lie anyway.

MBP is faster than MSI Wind just a little because of the MSI's BIOS, if they'd cut that bit out then it would be same speed (possibly faster)

it can boot vista quicker than that too
my msi can boot vista and close down almost as fast as my presario cq60
