If you told me to pick between Final Fantasy X including Final Fantasy X-2 and Xenosaga series. Hand down i would always pick Xenosaga. and yes you can share data after you beat the first game. Each game out of each three has a mysterious start but keys into the other games better then anything esle. Xenosaga is the best game for PS2. play all three games.

I'm actually playing minish cap right now I'm on castor wilds I like the game so far but the kinstone fusion concept I don't really like which is why I didn't list it as for wind waker and twilight princess I haven't played them yet because I don't have a wii or gamcube

@JohnnyTheWeasel No...no they're not. The manga is always made after the game comes out. So they can change ANYTHING they want. Like how there are 2 A Link to the Past mangas. Any truth in the background for this Link in the manga would have to come from the game's themselves, the booklet that comes with the games, or official statements.
That said, I really like how they used Maple in the manga. XD
This and Oracle of Season kept sane when I spent the summer of 2002 in bed with a busted leg after getting hit by a car. On top of that they were the first 2 Zelda games I owned myself. So these 2 games hold a special place in my heart.
Actually, all the Links are supposed to be random people. If the Tri-Force of courage just went down through the family, then the person who got it might not even be worthy, hell, there might not even be any boys to take it. So, it goes to whoever is worthy, instead of through blood-line. But you are right in the sense of Ancestory- Link's ancestors are basically Link's past lives.
@1nintendofanboy1 For reals the links are all descendants of same family, hence the characteristics (i think thats how you spell it) and heroic actions, But the "hero" links that you play as, are the only "worthy" links in the family.

@1nintendofanboy1 Actually i have to admit that as much as i LOVE the Oracle's linked game, Preferably in Ages -> Seasons order, the "Top 1" is a tie between WW and TP. WW gets like 9001 koolpoints for the musics. Dragon roost island and Molgera battle omgawd xD Tp is just shortly great game. Both have good storytelling, gameplay, graphics (i really like WW's pastel colors), plot, sidequests, nice characters. What more can you ask :] And even tho WW has lots of sailing it adds to the experience.
@stidukka not trying to butt in, just wanna say something about WW, i loved it, but TP was better for me cause WW was like 85% side quest :/ it was a great game but i think they could've put more into the story
@DivineSlayer1 Yeah but it was matter of preferance. IF you want you could just speed through the game under 10 hours. By doing all sidequests the gameplay hours might very well go over 30 hours.

@AngelofDeathLv2 No offense, but that's just assuming things. Not every kid would be worthy/would want the job. Also, being worthy is not about a want, or determination. It's wether the Triforce of Courage accepts Link or not. For example: If someone owns a company, not all of the children would have what it takes. Sure, every now and then, MAYBE, but mostly, it would go down to a worthy person. Farore is a God, not a health problem, so it wouldn't pass down through blood.
If you get the code from Seasons, put it into Ages, Ages will have differences?
Well what if you put the code from your first time playing Ages into Seasons if you still HAVE a saved file on Seasons, that is beat? THEN what will happen?
I don't know if I agree about the "Introduce the villain soon" kinda thing. I mean, sometimes a plot twist is in need and it has to do with the villain. Wow, I frased that badly. Anyways, take FFIV for an example. I mean there are TWO men behind the man (Golbez to King Baron, Zeromus to Golbez), and it works really well. And you don't discover the villain until like, what 7/8ths of the way into the game? Of course, in some cases it is good to introduce him early, but it depends on the style.
Wow my nostalgia just got punched in the gut. I still have this, but need to find a GBA to play it on. I remember one year where my brother got me oracle of seasons for my birthday, and I got him oracle of ages for his. I never actually beat either game... but I think I'll start playing along to catch up and finally beat them.

As for the wanting the master sword? You would need to deal with claering the first game, then use the password for the master sword from the first game to the second game AFTER you get the Noble Sword. (If you try to use the password before you get the Noble Sword, you get the Noble sword--plus, there are no re-dos for the passwords.)
You should record yourself playing wind waker for the first time. You narrate your LP's as if you don't know what's going on anyway, which I like, but I think it would be entertaining to see your legitimate first impressions of WW, or TP, or MC, or whatever you felt like doing.
I'm definitely going to play along with this LP too. Oracle of Ages is 98% as good as Oracle of Seasons, which is 98% as good as Link's Awakening... both fantastic games!
Ehhhhh Xenosaga games wouldn't be for you HCBaily. They're more story driven, not as long or in depth as FF games. The second one is also one of the worst sequels to a game I've ever played. My recommendation, watch LPs of 1 and 2, then play 3. Xenosaga 3 is vastly superior in terms of gameplay to 1 and certainly 2.
HOLY CRAP! YOU'VE PLAY XENOGEARS!? That has to be one of my all time favorite rpgs. You HAVE to do a LP to it sometime. I know it's extremely long, but it's a game that shouldn't be passed up.

Actually the hero's are not always related to the current link, for example ww link had no relation tot he previous hero's. How many people have already told you that by now lol
God, yes, I so agree with you on the villain introduction thing. Some games I've played don't introduce the main villain until the final boss fight. :T

Agree with your 'introduce the villain early in the game comment'. I think its awesome that they introduce the other cast so early too, rather than random NPCs periodically to keep the plot running
Looks like this game uses autosaving as there is that hourglass thing at upper left corner sometimes when you change screens. Does it only save at towns as that icon does not always pop-up when you change screens?
The opening where LInk meets Impa is exactly the same as the story in the original Legend of Zelda's instruction book describing Link's arrival to Hyrule. Interesting how they modified it to this game. History really repeats in Hyrule doesn't it.
No Xenosaga? Aww HCBailly, you're missing out on one of the most confusing, religious reference dropping, musically awesome (episode I), and awesomely developed characters in an RPG! I'd be willing to donate you a copy of each if you'd play the entire trilogy...

@MrMinkStar That's more so my recording device only recording so many frames per second. If it becomes a long-term problem, I can change that. I usually have it set at a lower fps to help avoid the slowdown issues I had with recording Playstation games like, FF7 and CC.
I REALLY like Oracle of Ages. Seasons is good too, but Ages always seemed more original, it handled the time traveling stuff better than Ocarina of Time did imo.
I'd prefer an LP of FF12 than 13 (not hating). The latest Zelda game I played was the Minish Cap, which I enjoyed. And about Wind Waker, all the tedious sailing sidequests you have to do really turned me off from that game.
And HCBailly, you can record with a videocamera pointed at your TV and we'll still watch.
Darn, I was sort of hoping that you'd play Seasons first... No real reason really, except that I prefer having a certain "Boxer" be the friend who you use for the two games instead of a big bloated bear (hopefully that doesn't spoil anything for anyone who hasn't played the game). lol
Still, I look forward to this LP. This game (Ages, not Seasons) is definitely one of my favorites on the GBC.
@frostare Unfortunately, I believe that whatever parter you get is determined by which game you play first. You can only get the boxer to stay as your permanent friend if you play seasons first... I could he wrong though.

Oracle of ages and seasons are fun games but they aren't anywhere near as fun as link's awakening.

Woot! I have both Oracle of Season and Oracle of Ages. They are pretty good games. If you need help, just ask, alright?
For story perposes, I would go for Ages, then Seasons. *Shrugs shoulders* Meh. That's just me, anyway.

You should record yourself playing wind waker for the first time. You narrate your LP's as if you don't know what's going on anyway, which I like, but I think it would be entertaining to see your legitimate first impressions of WW, or TP, or MC, or whatever you felt like doing.

I'm definitely going to play along with this LP too. Oracle of Ages is 98% as good as Oracle of Seasons, which is 98% as good as Link's Awakening... both fantastic games!

Ehhhhh Xenosaga games wouldn't be for you HCBaily. They're more story driven, not as long or in depth as FF games. The second one is also one of the worst sequels to a game I've ever played. My recommendation, watch LPs of 1 and 2, then play 3. Xenosaga 3 is vastly superior in terms of gameplay to 1 and certainly 2.

Far as i'm concerned, your cryptic (or not so) commentary concerning it is pretty much the thin line between "doing it" and "not doing it" leading more toward the former and not the ladder. =P But I suppose we shall see...

Agree with your 'introduce the villain early in the game comment'. I think its awesome that they introduce the other cast so early too, rather than random NPCs periodically to keep the plot running

Looks like this game uses autosaving as there is that hourglass thing at upper left corner sometimes when you change screens. Does it only save at towns as that icon does not always pop-up when you change screens?

The opening where LInk meets Impa is exactly the same as the story in the original Legend of Zelda's instruction book describing Link's arrival to Hyrule. Interesting how they modified it to this game. History really repeats in Hyrule doesn't it.

@MrMinkStar That's more so my recording device only recording so many frames per second. If it becomes a long-term problem, I can change that. I usually have it set at a lower fps to help avoid the slowdown issues I had with recording Playstation games like, FF7 and CC.

I REALLY like Oracle of Ages. Seasons is good too, but Ages always seemed more original, it handled the time traveling stuff better than Ocarina of Time did imo.

I'd prefer an LP of FF12 than 13 (not hating). The latest Zelda game I played was the Minish Cap, which I enjoyed. And about Wind Waker, all the tedious sailing sidequests you have to do really turned me off from that game.
And HCBailly, you can record with a videocamera pointed at your TV and we'll still watch.

Darn, I was sort of hoping that you'd play Seasons first... No real reason really, except that I prefer having a certain "Boxer" be the friend who you use for the two games instead of a big bloated bear (hopefully that doesn't spoil anything for anyone who hasn't played the game). lol
Still, I look forward to this LP. This game (Ages, not Seasons) is definitely one of my favorites on the GBC.

@frostare Unfortunately, I believe that whatever parter you get is determined by which game you play first. You can only get the boxer to stay as your permanent friend if you play seasons first... I could he wrong though.
