@marmel03 on amazon you can buy a 7 tape VHS set but there isn't any official DVD release and this series has never re-aired since it's premiere in 1987 and I doubt it ever will again

When it was first aired in the US the BBC had several emigres from Soviet controlled countries watch it . They all said that it was a very accurate depiction of life under Soviet occupation. The British reviewer said it was a compelling psychological/political drama. I would like very much to get a copy of the full series. If anyone can tell me where to find it I would appreciate it very much!

Does anyone have the full miniseries...I live real close to the town they filmed alot of this in, Tecumseh Nebraska....in fact i was an extra in the parade scene. I have actually never seen any of the actual miniseries because when it aired I was in Air Force basic training. My now dead uncle has a major part in the parade scene and i would really like to see it....if anyone knows how I can get it I would appreciate it very much. markm30@yahoo.com

Cool to see both Blue Thunders flying, shame the new owner didn't keep one intact. It would have been worth more as movie memorabilia than as scrap. If it was money they wanted they could have at least sold the low time components and sourced some high time parts to replace them so it 'looked' OK.

I thought this was a good mini series, but the critics ripped it up big time. But I learned anything they hate is probably good..lol
Wish I could find this. Last I saw of it, it was on VHS, and they wanted big bucks for it. Would be cool if somebody would upload it here in segments. :)

Hey check ebay...every once in a while you will see it on ebay. I got a copy of it for $35 was not a great copy but that is about the best you can do..also google amerika dvd and you can find some other sites.
