When I started watching this video I expected it to be some kook girl having fun on the flowrider and then I see this?

Absolutely amazing - I honestly can't believe what I saw..

I'm 15, I bodyboard in Australia, and this girl is an amazing Bodyboarder, she's got some great, great talent and I hope she goes far with it.

May I add she's very good looking too :)

Thanks! I understand there are alot of very WEAK individuals on this site who have never ridden on the flow, surfed or bodyboarded & get their jolly's out of pokin fun at other's. Funny, how they try to sound so big, when in all actuality, they are so small.  RESPECT to those who actually DO ride THE WAVES--no matter what they use!! Thanks. :) Actually,in all honesty, she may have cheated when she first started doing them, however, in this video & I have still's where she is not cheating.Knee's are not bent on the surface, no hesitation(smooth) & is away from the wall.You cannot make any kind of a judgement call without being there to see it personally, in person.I do know that there are several that do, & maybe the asumption is based on that.Plus, she gets alot of height on this vid. :)

Natalie has done it in the surf as well. However, we live in a landlocked part of Texas and this is the best venue for us. :)

Many ride, train and stay in shape, riding the "man made waves". It's great fun and especially convenient when the ocean swell is flat. If you haven't tried it or have included it as a routine, you are missing out! Good times! :)

Looking forward to riding hurricane harbor in the spring. We have been so lucky to have Galveston flowrider open until this weekend. They close Sunday. It will be fairly warm tomorrow and Sunday! Started riding with my son in May and am hooked! I love the flow.

Neither venue is a secured, walk-in-the-park and takes determination and practice. Several have some amazing natural skill resulting in phenominal style as well!! Face it dudes, all waves are different, but waves are waves. No need to try to compare, or use that argument in attempt to establish some form of hierarchy.  It's weak and don't want to hear it. Important thing is to just have fun and share the stoke!

The answer to MANY of your questioning--YES, we have ridden "real waves"(hahahah) in the ocean as well! Grew up in California and come from a long history of surfers and bodyboarders since the early 1960's--been to the majority of the "hot" spots and "secret pots" from the Mexican border to up the coast into Northern California. Back in the day, before it was a coveted ritual by the present day crowds and fear for your life by shoddy locals protecting "their" break--sheesh!

Hi Justin! Thanks for the complement! Unfortunately we were involved in a 5x rollover single car(GMC SUBURBBAN) & the airbags did not deploy so we had multiple unjuries. The Dr. says no Bodyboarding for 1 year :(. HAHA! We use to rent the curl back when that was allowed in SP. We know the owners of all

3 Schltterbahns & recently shown the plans for one being built inKansas. My eldest daughter

& our South Africa friend, had the priveledge of riding the curl after hours at New Braunfels with one of the owner's son's none of the top riders in TX or CA has ever done! Natalie placed 2nd in Nationals at SP back in 2003. Do I sense a little jealousy from someone who really knows very little about the sport?

It takes practice, practice, practice! Every wave(Flowrider) in the U.S. and the world is different.

Just try it, get some instruct. from one of the seasoned riders or check out the Australian Flowrider website as they have a good video&just have fun!
