  • @TheTV300 Yes it is.

  • @TheTV300 at least he is very kind and telling us how to fix those washer machines without paying money ! regard and thanks a lot for the help nice vid :D

  • Focus, focus, focus!!!

  • Just got my power washer back from the shop, they wanted 250 bucks for a new pump, I said no and they charged me 30 bucks for estimate. I did exactly what the video said except I let the water pressure take out the bottom valve. Thank you very much!

  • what a dumb azz

  • @TheTV300 it says karcher

  • Excellent!

  • "and loose all the flippin springs" LOL

  • @TheTV300 These days, who knows? I have a Ford Ranger pickup truck assembled in Tennessee, USA, using sub-assemblies and parts from USA, Mexico, Japan, Canada and Germany. I wouldn't be surprised if Kärcher is doing similar things.

  • @TheTV300 That's strange. I could have sworn that the nameplate read "KÄRCHER" at time index 0:35 et seq.

  • DAMN YOU PESKY KARCHER IMPOSTORS!!!!!

Thanks for the video. It helped me fix my Karcher washer. Or, maybe mine is a fake too.

  • For technical reasons it is important to clarify that the valve is not a relief valve. It is a bypass valve. Before anyone starts to rebuild or clean pump components it is very important that you first check to see if the spray nozzle is plugged. A plugged nozzle will create very similar problems. I have seen people replace pumps because of a plugged spray nozzle.

  • what a knob ha ha ha lol

  • Try running it with a water filter to get the crap out of the water

  • To remove the piston just turn on the water pressure and fire up the pump. The piston wil fall out and you won't gall it up with the pliers

  • Rather than pull on the piston with pliers and gall it all up... simply just throw a towel over it and turn the water on and fire up the motor. The piston will come right out and you won't make a mess with the aluminum

  • @TheTV300 i have one of these you are full of bullshit, they are karcher

  • @fergfergferg123 seen as the pump and frame are made by KÄRCHER maybe not the engine which is a honda look - karcher 728b, is similar , i have one of these

  • If you have a problem taking out the piston.... just put a towel over the opening where the piston is and with the water connected to the pressure washer start the bad boy and the piston will pop out into the towel...

  • @tomjnhan Tried your approach of wrapping a towel and running the pump. This did npthing to remove the piston. It will rotate, but I can't pull the piston out fo the housing. Any other ideas?

  • nice video aving the same problem...but i can`t remove the piston it`s stuck any suggestions...?

don`t want to force it,and brake something.....is that parts cleaner to strong to use in that valve ? thats the only thing i haven`t used sprayed wd-40 in there still no luck

  • I have the same karcher.Power is from a Honda 5hp. Great little machine, had the same problem with the valve and fixed it ok, the valve is quite accessible and can be fixed easily. I have another Karcher, an electric 620m. Fixed up the valve there too, except the pump has gone now. Not started to fix on that yet.............. Any ideas?

  • Thanks. I got the same problem with the same pressure washer. Now it works perfectly.

  • With the nozzle you have on the end. you can just pull out on the end for low and then push back in for high, this will activate the piston valve. its a pain but it never fails and is easier then taking the valve apart everytime. i have the exact same one

  • Thanks for sharing this information. My HPW was giving the same problem. Followed your instructions, works like new.

  • @TheTV300 Ok, I give up, what kind of pressure washer is it then?

  • @JoeSchlubb haha, how is it not a karcher? TheTV300 is just trolling you

  • Thanks, this worked for a very different model.

  • Thank you for this video.

Mine has the exact problem. Same brand.

  • Comment removed

  • Easy way to get the valve out is to cover with a rag and start the washer.

    Valve will pop right out.

  • Thanks for the tip Joe. R.J. Bower Co. has a retrofit kit that includes everything you need to upgrage this unit. It is suppose to resist buildup in the valve area. I'll find out, just ordered one. BTW, the kit #40605880. On sale for $49.95 as of Feb. 2010. Great deal.

  • Piston sometimes gets stuck on my GMC Washer. If that happens to you take casing off and hit the motor few times with hammer. Works for me.

  • They actually have a new updated valve that usually doesn't stick. its called a "Spill Valve". Message me if you need one.

  • thanks for the tips , gotta love youtube, if you ever have trouble with a single carb dirtbike, maybe I can return the favor , just send your question to my inbox, thanks for the help

  • Joe,,, Great video, helped me a lot. My Karcher 2400 has an Intek 5.5. After running for about an hour , it just stopped in the middle of a job. Has gas, spark and compression. Any ideas wher to look to get it running again. Thanks for the help. R McG

  • Gas, spark, compression, and timing are all an engine needs to run.

    Try fresh gas.

  • Jlsparky7, Thanks for the reply. Turned out to be a cracked gear on the cam. It set the timing off a milisecond and it wouldn't run. R McG

  • Process of elimination works every time. Glad you found the problem.
