@GagaLover2106 The major issue being that there was a number of cars and a large tractor in front; you would have difficulty seeing whether there actually was oncoming traffic without shifting out of your lane, and then BAM! you've been hit because life is usually a bitch like that. I've been stuck behind tractors a couple of times; it sucks, but the best thing to do is to relax and be patient until you're 100% certain you won't be hit, because people drive like idiots. Especially here in CA.
