took a pencil, dark pen and red pen, followed the video step by step and i believe the results was very good, well very good for a guy that his best draw ever was the most simple way to draw a person, you know- 1 line for each leg and hand, 1 for a little neck and a lousy circle for head.

A true artist uses a pencil, then a inking pen then he will scan it into his pc and color it in one of several great coloring programs ranging from paint to photoshop or whatever he prefferes.

Personally ive done rather good drawings with a blue ballpoint pen during my highschool years, You take what you have. Art is in the momment.

Pencil > Inking > Cgi coloring is the path to go tho if you want to make manga / anime styles.

However there is nothing wrong with this video.
