  • what kind of torque difference did you end up with?

  • @Sneadster peak torque moved up the RPM's just a bit, but there was more torque even at 2,000 rpm.

first dyno was 270trq at the wheels, after heads/cam its 337

  • when u get a mild cam, do u have to get headers, heads, and injectors....im talking about a 93 fox....and how much do u think it is to time it all?

  • @ROBBY639 you can get a cam with stock heads, but most of the time you will LOSE power. stock heads are not built for the upper RPM's, after market cams push the power into the upper RPM's. so in my opinion, you should swap the heads when you are thinking of a cam swap. just do them both.

headers are a nice mod too.

I'm not sure what "how much do u think it is to time it all" means...

  • @Xarmy187 i meant to have the cam timed

  • wat head n cam u used

  • @joshmarauder its listed in this video, and most of my others.

trickflow twisted wedge heads with a light port job. trickflow stage 2 cam. and a victor 5.0 intake.

  • is there a difference in power though?

  • @joshmarauder I picked up 110 rwhp. so yea..... there is a difference...

  • Makes sense to me. More air = more fuel = bigger bang. Bigger difference than I expected, though. Nice vid.

  • wow that car is ugly id rather have a 69 or that grey one next to it looks like a 2001

  • @BRYANIN562 Nope thats a Terminator Cobra... but you gotta be a real gangster to own one of those. Like me.

  • A LOT throatier

  • @LomacXLT Si!

  • @BaenzigerE get all that what? power? just keep throwing money and parts at it until it works out, lol

  • I see the guy covering his ear at 0:34. LOL

  • So it made a HUGE difference in loudness of sound? So if I took my 302 changed heads and cam it would make it louder on the street?

  • @evilperson86u yes. it was a big difference.

  • @Xarmy187 What are some other ways to make it louder besides exhaust? Boost?

  • @evilperson86u look if your asking questions like that DO NOT make your car any faster cuz your ass is gonna kill yourself, @xarmy187 nice car broi got a 91 notchback wit twisted wedge heads supercharged cammed full exhaust first car haha got her when i was 16 now turning 18

  • @JustlnGorman So...

  • @JustlnGorman Whatever....

  • @evilperson86u The car was much louder, that is what I was trying to show. The car has the same exact exhaust set up, but is MUCH louder.

  • Nice car, my dad's notchback is setup pretty close, but it has a vortech supercharger and omg, from the front of the car all you hear is the damn thing whistling lol, Foxes are the way to go!

  • did you have to notch the pistons to clear the stage 2 cam?

  • @itsstock09 nope, no issues at all installing teh cam with 1.6 rockers. but all motors are different. also the cam will not work with a stock valve angle head

  • What is your exhaust setup? It sounds epic.

  • @KemplandN haha, thanks! BBK shorty headers, BBK offroad H pipe, and a MAC flowpath catback

  • @Xarmy187 Thanks man. The reason I asked is because my friend wants the same sound out of his '95 Econoline E-150 5.0, lol.

  • @KemplandN haha, that would be awesome

  • sounds freakin sweet man...i could tell a pretty decent difference in sound when i put trickflow top end on my car and i love it!

  • @gpfordstang302 haha, yep. the video obviously doesn't capture everything, but there is a huge difference in volume of exhaust, and it sounds more aggressive just having the motor opened up by the head/cam :D

  • my ls1 sounds better xP

  • @brian1570 lol, you wish buddy. I like LS1's for the "new school" V8 sound. but you cant beat the "oldschool" sound of a 5.0

  • This is what i like about the foxbody mustang, the ultimate best sound it gaves you... sure wish you can have that real mustang sound on a 2011 5.0...

  • @JayStang4Ever haha, cant have "old school" sound with that fancy new technology. Modular motor, TiVCT cam timing will never sound like a oldschool, single cam, pushrod V8!
