-They are Spartans in Greece yet they have Scottish accents

-They call Athenians "boy lovers" and look down on them yet it's a historical fact that homosexuality was widely accepted in Spartan culture.

-The movie is racist.

-the dialogue is shit

-the acting is shit

- no historical accuracy at all

this movie was shit, and doesnt hold a candle to a movie like gladiator or spartacus.

@Evallandercomingsoon. There is such as thing as not even trying, something this movie frequently did. They took blatant shortcuts around the historical truth when there was absolutely no need to. Rhinos, ninjas, really?

I can understand some artistic license; but there is a limit to my willing suspension of disbelief.

That said, 300 was great entertainment.

If you wanna know the truth, i don't even give a tiny rats ass about how historically true it is, it could be as fake as hell, but I wouldn't care, I watch movies cos they're good, not cos they are accurate :P
