  • He can address the ball, but if the ball moved, a penalty should've been called on himself.

  • Thanks for posting this...i dont know how u could tell if the ball went back to its exact spot nor if he improved his lie but I'm glad to know that all the times I've done this when I've played it wasent a penalty :)

  • The ball moved a bit, but returned to its original position - no penalty under the rules.

  • No penalty. The ball did not meet the definition of "moved" as defined by USGA rules.
