My little chick is sick. I am also not sure of the issue. She has a bad leg, so maybe it was that she could not get to her food and water in her previous coop.
I am giving her individual care and I plan to feed her some antibiotics tonight. If anyone else knows of a good idea...let me know...
@Spicermonkey Did your chick survive? I really don't know much about curing sick chickens. Talking with folks on the Backyard Chicken Forum is what saved my australorp. She's the smallest of the pack, but lays as many eggs as the others.
Yep! And he turned out to be my little rooster. Haha! He is running around crazy as can be. I gave him Tylan. An antibiotic for swine and cattle. Just a little teaspoon of it, and he was ready to chase butterflies in the yard the next morning. It;s always the favorite chicken that has the problems it seems...Lol!
If you look through my other videos you will see this chicken is alive and well.
I don't know what was wrong, but I fed her electrolytes and vitamins and protein and nursed her for about a week and she turned around.
At the time I thought for sure she was a goner and I made this video to get help from several chicken forums (including BackYardChickenForum) and the advice I got helped me rescue her.
Thanks for the advice, but she's a happy and adorable chicken now.

I know its hard but you really should kill this chick, it could pass disease on to your healthy chicks and it looks like it is suffering.
