No doubt in my mind, Grant had a better overall game than Kobe and Lebron. He was a triple double machine. Truly unstoppable one on one. It was just not natural to be that quick at 6'8. I guess that was why his ankle couldn't hold up.

the FACT is NBAs average height has gone DOWN continiously from '86-'09. Players have gotten shorter & Weaker mostly due to white european immigration. Back then players were more atheletic & extremely tough defensively, 2-4 yrs of college also taught them defensive technique how to shut main scorer of opponent down. RODMAN, COOPER, PAYTON, MJ all won Def Plyr of Yr. PIPPEN, STARKS, STOCKTON got robbed.
NBA is at its all time worse defensively today, Its been proven.

more crap. NBA defense today is on its all time worse. Every NBA critic has admitted this FACT. Reason why white Europeans can play as starters. Much Less Physical & soft defense suits their running & gunning style of offense perfectly. Many of these Europeans couldn't even sit on the bench in '80s & '90s. Also Kobe, Lebron, Wade would easily be a 21-23 ppg scorers easily. In that Era, MJ ave 37.1 & 35 ppg shows all of us MJs superiority to these wannabes.

duncan garnett and howard are great defenders, but kobe is unguardable 1 on 1. The way you guard most players is to force them into using a weak part of their game, but kobe doesn't have a weakness, he's good at everything.
