  • hey, if i wanna come out to pagent next year, can i register now?

although im not with a church? il probably head down there independantly

  • @PoliticallyOutspoken No registration required. It's all informal. Just show up with a tent and plan to camp :-) Would love to see you there!

  • I very much appreciate her point at approximately 18:00 of being honest about the intended use of the survey. Please do not use surveying as a false presentation to open up a dialogue.

  • @kdnkdn66 Amen, I second that

  • That is a terrible explanation of cognitive dissonance.

  • What a bunch of liars. These are no christens in these video

  • EPHESIANS

    CHAPTER 2

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

    JAMES

    CHAPTER 2

26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Salvation comes by grace through faith which is dead without works.

  • ST JOHN

CHAPTER 14 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Christ said people will do greater things than him so why make a big deal about this?

  • "I have more to boast of than ever any man had. I am the only man that has ever been able to keep a whole church together

since the days of Adam. A large majority of the whole have stood by me. Neither Paul, John, Peter, nor Jesus ever did it.

I boast that no man ever did such a work as I. (they conventiantly leave off the last line) The followers of Jesus ran away

from Him; but the Latter-day Saints never ran away from me yet." History of the Church pages 408-409

  • Its easy to see that the spirit of God is in nothing that theses born agains do. They rely on everything else other than the spirit to ruin, deceive, destroy the testimonies of Good people who follow the bible and the gospel of Christ. To get them to follow nothing. To be void of the spirit and follow their own ego and pride. Why would anyone want to do this? Who is leading this chruch?

  • marco=

Full of pride and self righteousness?Yes.

Thinks he will become a god. Yes

    Sinless? Yes.

    Foolish? Yes.

Only a worthy Mormon would have these attributes. Forget about a holy infinite God. We Mormons have a god that was just like us, human.

  • awolLDSasap. You know when your tired of the pain. Tired of the resentment. Tired of the confusion. God still has his hand out to you. When life gets you too far down in a hole. All you have to do is reach up....... Should i send the missionaries yet?

  • I am trying to warn you that you have built a testimony on a fairy tale. There have never been any ancient Jewish Indians. This spirit you have is team spirit, church patriotism.

You are not allowed to think for yourself.

  • Lol. thats funny awol. If you only knew. My bishop sees me in his office on a monthly basis. Im the only one in priesthood that has ever stood up and told everyone that were way way off base and getting to self absorbed here. I do consider myself to be a team player yes. But out of all the teams I have been on. Never have i confused team spirit with the holy spirit. Its not possible. I have testimony of many things. But the one of God(not church) is the one I believe has done me the most good.

  • mormans believe if ur a good spirit baby u are born into a white skin person...and if ur a bad spirit baby u are born into a black skin person....the bible doesnt teach that nor does jesus so why do they? they also teach that if ur a good servent to the lord than u become a god to ur own planet....when that cleary goes againt the first commandment from god...there are no other gods before him...mormans are good people but not christians......they believe in joseph smith more than the word of god

  • ALLWHEELDRIVE?..ARE YOU SURE?...How about a ONEWHEELDRIVE analogy?..Well I used to drive a vehicle with only one wheel, yes one wheel (The Bible) and it was scary & uncomfortable to be in such. You see, the name reminds me of my days as an Evangelical Christian.

Today I drive an ALLWHEELDRIVE (4WHEELDRIVE) vehicle (The Holy Bible, The Book of Mormon, D&C, and The Pearl of Great Price, etc, etc...and it's amazing how comfortable & how it feels when all these wheels function smoothly together

  • God is fiction.

  • HOW TO LOVE?...We love all those that went astray, ex-Mormons included

MEN'S WISDOM?...Isn't that where you're trying to flush down to the Christians that will be attending the pageant?

GOD KNEW US BEFORE WE WERE EVEN BORN?...This is great, during my years of being an evangelical, we never talked about 'life before birth' Do you now believe that we lived with God before our birth? How about the other Christians?

*I think you're following along very well with the Truth the Mormons preach

  • mormon is not true christianity

  • Mormonism thrives on religious bigotry. Just ask any Mormon if Christians are led by God. It's a 19th century puritan white mans religion filled with adultery. Today it's spiritual adultery.

lesavaii, you never knew Christ. You have been brainwashed. They have no power. You have been wisked up into the Mormon community love association. You thrive on the kindness and association with other members and forget about God.

There is no pre existance for humans.

  • AWOL "you never knew Christ. You have been brainwashed"

Dude, over 10 years I tried to prove the Mormons wrong, but the more I read the Bible looking for evidences to prove them wrong, the more I understand what they were actually telling.

Brainwashed? I believe you are brainwashed by the cleverness of Satan's agents among yourselves. God is good & so as His Son, our Savior Jesus Christ

  • You are not alone. Millions of people accept the words of men over Gods word. There's a whole pile of dung from these faux lds prophets that no rational leader of the church would talk about today.

  • AWOL "You are not alone" (I KNOW...'cause every year, over 200 thousands of us AWOL your man-made Christianity renaissance) Go figure!

I thank God for giving the opportunity to get out of that rat-race pit with all kind of confusions going on among Christians like yourself.

  • One last comment, some of your survey questions are exactly like those posed by the Pharisees.Example, does your prophet sin?, Keith's question was a classic, "Do you repent everyday?" His comment was that "they can't answer yes or no, we've got them either way". That's an evil design and not according to the teachings of the bible. Read Matt 22:15-22. I also heard another reference to the impossible gospel. You don't understand the gospel at all to call it that. It's not only possible but easy.

  • If I were to talk with one of you I would want to be prepared and talk about the fundamental differences between mainstream christianity and LDS christianity. Things like grace, faith vs works, baptism, deification of man, sin and repentance, modern day prophets, etc. Don't throw comments out there like "JS was a pedophile" or "JS took wives away from other men". Stick with the doctrine and you'll have greater success (not that I'm wishing it on you, lol). I love you all!

  • I would be careful on your survey questions as well. No one likes to feel that he's being backed into a corner. That was how the saducees and pharisees approached Christ. Remember also that we usually don't bring our bibles with us to pageants. I'm much more effective at defending the truth with a bible in hand. So when someone says I'll have to get back to you on that question, it doesn't necessarily mean we don't know the answer. LOVE IS KEY!! Don't make us feel threatened. (part 2)

  • Being LDS, I could probably give you some hints when approaching us. I was impressed with this girl and her emphasis of loving others. There is no better approach. I've seen vid's of evangelicals dragging garments on the sidewalk and throwing the BOM on the ground. That kind of stuff is very offensive to us. I would never give that type of person the time of day. I would, however talk to someone with a gentle approach.

    (part 1)

  • It's great that you are genuinely interested in challenging mormons and their beliefs. They need this and so do you. Hopefully you all can learn and grow from each other.

  • yes, where can i get one of those surveys?

this is a blessing! Glory Hallelujah!

  • I will post them ASAP.

  • thank you!!

  • Right after I left Mormonism I watched Angela's testimony video. It was very powerful and inspiring to me. I've often wondered how she's doing.

  • Hello,

This teaching is very powerful and insightful! Believers of Christ need to know this in order to be more Spirit-led in their evangelism and outreaching to nonbelievers... Really, this is how GOD wants us to be in all areas of life!

Good job for presenting this! Sean

  • wow this is amazing.

is there going to be a training sessino next year for the 2010 pagent?

and ifso, what are the qualifications of being part of the evangelism team?

    god bless!

  • To be a Christian and to have a love for Mormons. :) There are training sessions every year, God-willing.

  • i am born again and i do have a love for mormons.

are there any canadians taking part in the evangelizing team?

  • None that I know. Come on down!
